Change the name of British Columbia to Province of Vancouver 🇨🇦
I completely agree with the issue of fraud, misrepresentation, pretenders, etc. But socialization works both ways and people are being raised with Aunties, Elders and First Nations culture. I can see how people will identify with it. How do we allow for people that identify or feel part of this community? How important is- who are parents are compared to who we are? Generations of living together creates our own unique community.
for gods sake you got their land let them have their identity ffs.
@@ashsuri1289 You can look act and be raised indigenous, be prejudiced against, not have status, and not receive benefits. English and western culture exists almost everywhere because ppl want everyone to be it. The current system is designed to have less and less indigenous people over time. Is Genetic protectionism the only solution? If so, why teach children about Raven or Cedar?
I am the face of the campaigns!!!!
No More Pretendians
I'll be there!!!
So… what happens in the case that a non indigenous child is adopted by an indigenous family. Is this about culture or is it about race and genetics? Did this questions even come up?
Who says they can say who I am,,, dumb
