5P's of Strategy || Mintzberg's 5P's of Strategy

Mintzberg's 5P's Of Strategy is about 5 different viewpoints, you can look at your strategy that you are going to settle for the company.

This theory was brought up by Henry Mintzberg in 1987.
The Viewpoints you can look at your strategies are - Plan, Ploy, Pattern, Position, and Perspective.
Plan:
Plan is exactly what we are likely to think about when we thin k about a strategy. What is a strategy, well, a strategy is a plan about how you are going to operate your company so that you can maximize your customer satisfaction as well as profit. You would be partially right. Partially because a strategy is so much more than a plan. But there is a plan.
The plan will be about how you are going to go from pint a to point b. THEY ARE DEVELOPED IN ADVANCE anticipating what is likely to happen and what you are going to do when that happens.
Ploy:
Ploy is about how you are going to deal with your competitors.
Pattern:
It is about looking at historical data of what pattern of work has worked for the company and follwoing that, and discarding whatever did not work in the past.
Position:
Where does the company fit in the market.
Perspective:
How everybody involved with the company as well as the people not involved with the company see the company as.
