@@ravitrivedi4363 Yes, this is not a restricted area. Your travel agent should be able to organize this. It does take a full day in addition to the outer kora yatra.
Appreciate your efforts to show us this. Somehow it is highly difficult to believe that this is Mt. Kailash as no-one can go near or touch it so easy unless it is highly blessed saadhaka. Even the climate wouldn't support to go so near to that. Unbelievable though.
It is possible to go and touch
So far it's what is reported...even the most experienced climbers hv not been able to go near the revered mountain.
There is a pilgrimage around the base of the Kailash Dal as well as the City of the Gods site, both are open to visitors who respect the lakes, rivers and the rules for the Heritage Site. Most visitors are interested in long range photography, seeing the pilgrimage sites, seeing the sites of religious importance and seeing the “disappearing” lake. She is following the base pilgrimage and touching the base of the mount, easily done from the path but not recommended because it is disrespectful.
It's possible to trek and touch...... but its impossible to climb this where the climate come's in
As a civil engineer I can tell you that this looks like it's made from Mortar. Doesn't look like a natural formation, it looks like it was built like thousands of years ago. We as a country have some of the biggest mysteries of the world.
I felt exactly the same as I saw it, being an engineer n have interests in types of stones!

If it’s made of small stones put together, then it’s man made by ancient gods/ ancient men. Mountains are big massive monoliths or megaliths not small stones cemented together.

You said it's not solid rock mountain, but you see stones fussed together 😇 That makes billions and billions of stones put together ❓ Not possible, I think, That's basically Climatic Erosion, I'm sure you must be aware of heavy snowfall, gusty winds , avalanche, temperature etc, plus count thousands of years in existence.. had it been stones, this could have become brittle inside and slided down as you have seen mountain landslides, I may be wrong 🙏 but I'm sure it a huge strong mountain which has tremendous energy .. 🙏 No hard feelings please 🙏 😊

It is a conglomerate. Take a good look at road cuts along the highways . It is not an uncommon rock type. Very good observation on the part of this woman. I walked around Mount Kailash.

Did you experience any physical discomfort while going closer to Mount kailash?
It’s a very tough hike scaling from 16000ft to 20,000ft in a single day and back down. We walk a over a glacier so that’s not a regular hike. Outside of that, when I touched Kailash, all tiredness vanished. I felt like I did when I visited my Nani’s house in the summer holidays! It was pure bliss.

The mountain range which we call the Himalayas was once under sea, those small rocks are definitely sediments of the sea bed!

@Akshay Singh No they were not under the sea. Millions of years ago the Indian subcontinent plate hit the Eurasian plate . The impact was so intense that the india subcontinent plate was forced to move below the Eurasian plate. When the Indian subcontinental plate drifted below the Eurasian plate it in turn created pressure on the Eurasian plate due to which the magma inside was forced upwards . The magma forced the crust to rise which you called "Himalayas". Kailash was a part of magma not sea.

I've heard that too. I did not experience it -maybe because we there for a very short time?

Mt Kailash is at around 15000ft above the sea level, so you may not feel it but your body is changing and nails grow faster too.
Raushni, what an experience you must have had. I remember going there 3 years back with Sadhguru. Amazing experience for me.
