Very consistent work. Well done, mate. Keep going.
Very nice work!! Which filaments did you use? And how much does the printed parts weight?? Printing time?
Hello and thank you very much. I used PLA and TPU 95a but you can use other materials like ABS or PETG, however I'm not sure how much material I used since some parts I had to print several times to correct measures, but I think between 500 and 700 grams of hard material is enough. As for the printing time I really can't say but I'm sure that in less than two weeks you can print all the parts.
@@3dimensions478 Cool, thanks!! I'm thinking about design one or print one like this, after I finish the project in which I'm working now👍👍
i was thinking for a second, you should get better suspension and after seeing that the suspension is 3d printed too, that amazing.
Thank you very much! I know that if I used the suspension and tyres not 3D printed I would have a much better performance, however my goal is to make the cars with all parts 100% printed, obviously without the screws, bearings and electronics.
Nice design. Many parts remind me of the Tarmo4. Is this design based on it? How are the TPU shocks holding up? Do you keep the car elevated when not used as to avoid them getting deformed and loosing their functionality? Thanks!
Thanks! Yes, the differential bases are inspired by the Tarmo4, I really liked the way it's possible to remove the differential without disassembling the whole front axle so I decided to make my version. And yes the TPU shocks hold up well, when I'm not using the car I leave it with the wheels up, more properly I support the chassis on a roll of tape to prevent deformation in the shocks.
open-ats eu did the same with the springs, but they have a memory effect right? nice idea :)
Thank you and yes it has memory effect, they work very well for a fully 3D printed suspension.
Terima kasih untuk file nya...
Akan saya coba print..🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍
How many mph can u get on it?
27.8 kmh = 17.27 mph Top Speed
Very Nice
Very nice. Keep going with the good work!!
Nice project bro!!!
Can you share the wiring diagram and components specs (ESC, brushless motor, battery, receiver, etc) ?.
Thank you very much!
In the instruction manual there are all the necessary parts, however if you have difficulty in finding any of them see the comments in the thingiverse, I left there the links where I bought all the parts.
The wiring diagram may vary depending on the receiver you use, just search on youtube and certainly there are videos that explain it, if you buy one like mine the wiring diagram comes in the instruction manual of the transmitter and is very simple to understand.
Hi i have a slight problem the main cylindrical diffrential gearbox is not touching the other bevel gear properly what to do?
Try "stretching" the bevel gear on your slicer to increase the Z axis dimension a little. If it doesn't work let me know so I can change the STL and then send it to you to fix the problem.
3Dimensions yes please can you change the stl and paste it in the comments please that would be great thanks
@@dopesongsrimix5620 Send me your email by message on Thingiverse.
3Dimensions sure
@@dopesongsrimix5620 Did you send anything? I didn't receive anything.
is it 1/16 scale?
It is closer of a 1/10
@@3dimensions478 thanks for the design.. im on my progress to complete the print
Hello for the choice of the flex TPU 98a or 92a filament?
Hi, I used 95a.
Hey can you please tell me what kind of screws and nuts i need?
You will need various types and sizes of bolts and nuts. All measurements and quantities are in the instruction manual.
Toooogoood
Thank you very much!
SUPER-COOL-CAR-
Could you drop some Amazon links please. I want to make sure I order the correct parts. This looks like to be a fun project!
Hi, I didn't buy on Amazon, I bought on AliExpress, but I can look up the parts on Amazon. What do you prefer?
@@3dimensions478 I'd prefer Amazon, if you don't mind. Gotta make use of my Prime where I can.
No problem, I'll send the links from Amazon, however it's best to confirm if there isn't the same product cheaper on the site.
You will need this motor and servo as the car is made for them to fit:
www.amazon.es/-/pt/dp/B01F0T2COW/ref=sr_1_23?crid=YYA0PWLI0IT7&dchild=1&keywords=a2212+1000kv&qid=1615849549&sprefix=a2212%2Caps%2C210&sr=8-23
www.amazon.es/-/pt/dp/B07PXDKLGH/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=mg+995&qid=1615849775&sr=8-1
These parts can be replaced but these are the ones I used:
www.amazon.es/-/pt/dp/B088PBZ151/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=austar+ax5&qid=1615849855&sr=8-1
www.amazon.es/-/pt/dp/B081CWD3YG/ref=sr_1_8?crid=3BDMG4BASJF9B&dchild=1&keywords=esc+30a&qid=1615849900&sprefix=esc+3%2Caps%2C236&sr=8-8
The battery is a Lipo 2S or 3S, I used 2S.
Again I say for you to look if you can find the same product cheaper on another site or even Amazon's site, I have bought the parts much cheaper on other sites like AliExpress, Banggood and HobbyKing.
@@3dimensions478 Thank you!
Hi bro im finished building the car and its absolutely fantastic thank you sooo much and can you tell me if i some how adjust a stronger motor in the the car will it break because of too much speed or force im talking 4300kv motor
And i have new tyres
Glad to hear you liked it and would love to see the end result!
I have never used another engine but I think 4300kv is too much, maybe between 1000 and 2000kv is best, if you have too much power you can break transmission parts more easily.
3Dimensions ok can is make the structure any stronger cuz i was hoping this car would support the motor
I already have ordered the motor so
3Dimensions ok now im talking 3100kv
Bro will it hold strong motors
As long as the dimensions are the same it can handle it, you can for example use a motor with more Kv and you will already increase the maximum speed.
3Dimensions can i use different size motor like the 3900kv ones? If that was possible it would be too good
@@dopesongsrimix5620 If the dimensions are the same you can use it.
Its diameter is a bit larger and the length but can i adjust ?
@@dopesongsrimix5620 I'm not sure if that engine fits but you can try.
Nice upgrade, i'm now making the first version, because here on Brazil is hard to find some pieces like V and C bolt, for this I bought with the largest possible measure and cut as needed hehe.
For now I will continue until I finish version 1 and make updates afterwards.
Oh, and thank you for making my child's dream come true today after old hehe
Hello and thank you very much for your support. I also had some difficulty finding the screws in Portugal, so I ordered from china on aliexpress. When you finish the project show in thingiverse for me to see how it was. I hope you like and that you have fun.
@@3dimensions478 of course i will share on your thingiverse page, but for now im having some trouble on the "Complete rear axle" part, this part have a "ball" inside the part, but when i print the part this ball is mixed with the part
Can you tell me which piece you are talking about? Front suspension arms and other parts have a ball inside that is printed in place, just like the STL, that ball has a 0.2mm tolerance so after printing it should move freely, if not try reducing the flow and printing temperature slightly.
@3Dimensions yes the inner ball does not move freely, my solution was to edit the bars and make the ball separately and then put it inside the piece, it worked perfectly :)
The same thing about the gearbox drive shaft , as I didn't find some of the screws, I bought M3 of the largest size I found and I'm cutting them as needed, so the cut pieces I used in the gearbox drive shaft.
@@3dimensions478 sorry for disturbing you, but in the video you said you were using the wrong esc, which one would be the right one? Because in the video it says it is a 30A and in the document too, but now almost finishing the project here I think my esc burned when I was testing the steering part.
I make some testings and i think my AX-5X receiver is dead, i dont know if the servo force he :(
What motor size and esc required ?
The motor is an A2212 1000Kv brushless. I use the wrong ESC in the video.
@@3dimensions478 the same esc can be used ? I mean the drone esc ?
@@gautamsenthilkumar823 Yes it can be used, but it has no reverse, so I recommend you buy another one.
