Hello friends, I'm so excited to welcome you all to my new crafting channel, 'Crafting in Mimi's World'! This is my second channel on UA-cam and it'll primarily be focused on crafts, DIY's, projects, thrift flips, dupes, look for less, upcycling, revamping, and trash to treasure. So, all things crafting!!
My shopping channel is, 'A Dollar Tree Mimi's World' and in that channel I'll be doing store shop with me trips, store walkthroughs, DT hauls, other store hauls and a few trips to the thrift stores. So all things shopping!

⚒DIY Pull-Out Spinning Ribbon Holder:
2 Flower Shaped Wooden Plaques from Dollar Tree.
5- 14"× 1/2" Wooden Dowels from Lowes
9"×7" Rectangular Wooden Plaque
Waverly Chalk Paint in White
4" Lazy Susan Hardware from Amazon Link:

Screws and Nuts used for securing the lazy Susan to the first wooden flower #6-32×1/2" total of 4 sets.
Screws used to secure dowels to wooden flower #6x1-1/4" total of 5.
Washers used with screws for dowels M8 x 15/16" total of 5.
Screws used for securing the spinning ribbon holder to the 9"×7" board #9×3/4" total of 4.
2- 2" Hinges sets
*use a 1/2" wood twist drill bit for the holes on the flowers petals for the dowels to fit into. Not a spade drill bit. That will tear up that thin wood.

Also, I figured out by accident that if you make this up until you're about to mount it to the wall, you can sit it on a table with the flower piece flat on the table and the dowels up in the air. One change you could make would be to put the installation hole in piece you are using for the base. That way it is hidden under the ribbon holder.

Look at that gorgeous craft room! You did such a great job making it over! It must be so exciting to use! I love love love this ribbon spinner! It looked easy enough for me to do, even with the fanangling! I have trouble keeping things straight though! This was a fantastic DIY that I might have to recreate!

What are the measurements for the flowers?
Hi Robin, do you mean the triangular sector wood cut-out? They are 12" on both sides and rounded on the front, if you use a large wooden spool piece, but you can cut your pieces to fit your custom area. I hope this helps. Tfw, and have a fantastic week. 😱 OMGGGGGGG I have been trying to come up with SOME WAY of storing/displaying my TONS OF RIBBON for YEARS! This is absolutely genius and I LOVE the flower 🌸! I'm gonna show this to my hubby and omg don't think I'm not gonna have him help me make this! I don't currently have a bookshelf in the space I'm using for my craft area at the moment so he'll have to come up with some kind of stand or something for it but omg this is PERFECT!
