Even when his movies aren't great...he is!!!! What an actor of actors!
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is a very underrated comedy. Michael is fabulous in it and very funny. He says it’s one of his favourite own films.
If you had the Italian job done this list would be perfect
"The Hand" is noteworthy!
The Italian Job (1969) is missing
Its an american selection to be honest.
@@andyrobinson2653 The Italian Job is one of his most famous films , when the film was released it was screened internationally
@@michaelhawkins7389True but i was referring more or less about other entries. There is no doubt that Italian job is iconic and not surprising to top a list.
How in the world did *_The Ipcress File_* (1966) not make it on this list?
All things considered, my number one favorite listed here is probably Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) which won him an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Other movies listed here I also liked him in so far includes Batman Begins (2005), The Prestige (2006), The Dark Knight (2008), The Dark Knight Rises (2012) and Interstellar (2014). A few other good movies you might have missed include The Ipcress File (1965), The Italian Job (1969), Alfie (1966), Kidnapped (1971), The Quiet American (2002) and Inception (2010).
Speaking of Sleuth (1972). I may have mentioned this before but can you add to the list the top 10 Laurence Olivier movies 🎦, please 🙏? Thanks ☺️.
Come of it. No Ipcress File!
American list. Get carter, Harry Palmer films and Italian job are rooted in more english culture and so is lost on the Americans.
Yeah, I know the feeling.
@@andyrobinson2653 That is a bit of a generalization. Not all Americans. This New Yorker loves _The Ipcress File_ but then I'm a died in the wool Anglophile and many of my personal favorites are English films (many of them so obscure that even most English folk would not recognize them). By the way, _Get Carter_ is on this _"American"_ list.
Interstellar and The Prestige are my favorite
The Italian job and the prestige on my favourites
His best movie was The Eagle has Landed..... about the failed assassination attempt on British PM Winston Churchill .... and how that single moment of hesitation almost changed World War Two's destiny....
Very very great epic list I like it a lot very very great job he is one of the very best actor ever and the dark knight movies are some of the very best movies ever 😊❤
ALFIE (1966)
Sleuth. Sir Lawrence Olivia, an amazing English and Shakespearen actor. Loved Sir Michael Caine in the original film Alfie.
Amooo assistir os filmes com esse ator. O cara é fera em interpretar.
Muito obrigada pelas dicas destes filmes.
I'm trying to find a movie from a second part of 2000's (I believe) about a gangster with OCD who went against his boss's orders and protected a widow. His boss which I believe was portrayed by Michael Caine, is a sadistic predator and uses some kind of muscle relaxants to immobilise his victims and beats them horribly. If anyone recognises what movie it is, I'd love to hear from you.
Educating Rita!
Where’s Alfie ?
Austin Powers Goldmember he was so funny in that 1
Colonel Steiner killing Winston Churchill in the final scene of "Der Adler ist Gelandet "...caine's eyes looked like those of a snake!
This is pathetic - looks like ads for Hollywood films only. Where the hell are "Get Carter" and "The Ipcress File" and its sequels?
The Dark Knight Trilogy
Inception
Kingsman: The Secret Service
Interstellar
Dressed To Kill
The Prestige
The Muppet Christmas Carol
The Cider House Rules
Tenet
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Michael Caine actually did make movies (and some pretty darn good ones at that) prior to the 1980's.
You're missing two early films, including the Italian Job and Deadfall
And an even earlier film --- _The Ipcress File._
Inception is missing
How could you miss Alvie
Yeah, not only did they miss _Alvie,_ but they somehow left out _Alfie_ too!
All his best performances are missing ...😂
Wot no Italian job ,no I'm afraid I don't agree since it didn't make it to your Top#10
Get Carter.
he have better movies ! "The Fourth Protocol" "The Eagle Has Landed" "Blame It on Rio".....
Alife
هذا بطل خارق منور سنه 1964
"... go on a trip to a lonely island ..." GTF out of here. What island in the Hindu Kush? Read the book, "The Man Who Would Be King" a short story combined with "Without the Benefit of Clergy" by Rudyard Kipling. Americans, they know less than half of FA.
Jack, the Japan Alps Brit.
alfie. the ipress file. please. do your homework
