I was just at Beauchamp falls in the Otways. Camping rules. My first holiday in 13 years. Australian fur seals are sea lions. They're just called seals because of the fur trade, it kind of stuck.
Fatty was kind to a young male wanting to play dominance. Old Fatty ,he knows his own strength and doesn't retaliate, the young male Is not old enough to be a threat to his harem . Yet .
The mother sea lion, desperately trying to be optimistic about her life choices, is seriously contemplating gay skateboarding as a career for her children... Perhaps a whole team. 😊
Stunning ! I remember flying from Adelaide to KI in a 'Fokker Friendship' plane when I was a teenager. I'd forgotten just how beautiful it was though. Inspired to visit again now ! 🦭 🌊🌞
