Really enjoyed the tutorial which have been patiently and meticulously explained , As a cross stitcher I have been looking at some embroidery books which have combine both hardanger and cross stitch which looks beautiful. Hence I have been watching your tutorials.

Excellent tutorial :D I inherited my Norwegian grandmothers sewing kit with lots of Hardangersøm materials and patterns and have started taking it up, hoping to eventually be able to finish some of the pieces she started. Thank you for these videos, they are really helping me understand the stitching and patterns.

You are an exceptional teacher! Out of the many videos on beginner Hardanger embroidery yours excels above the rest. The filming perspective is spot on and your tone is calm and inviting. The instructions are easy to comprehend and follow with ease. I sure hope that you are planning to add more videos on Hardanger and other forms of embroidery. You would be my go-to source for learning the proper methods. I'm also learning to sew on a machine. I am quite top heavy so finding tops that fit is near impossible, they are either too tight don't button or perfect at the bust area but huge elsewhere. Makes me appear pregnant and that's not something I want to do again. :-) Thus, I want to make my own tops starting with tunics but need guidance on altering to fit. If this is something you can do please create a video on the topic. I am just one of countless women with the same problem. A video on the topic would reap loads of viewers and subscribers. I subscribed and will tell others about your channel. Thank you for teaching me the basics of Hardanger. I'm so excited and can't wait to do my first project. Stay safe. Cheers! :-)

Nice job of explaining the process. I would have liked to see how you cut the piece out of the fabric.

Do you have a video for cutting along the outside edge to turn the piece into an ornament?

I don't have a video for that, but I will add it to my list! Thanks.

@@EpidaStudio after I thought about it for a couple of days I would think it would have the same principle as cutting the threads along the inside. Just making sure, like you mentioned, to not cut an edge that is parallel to the stitches in the block
