It was made so that the officials did not need to ask the president for the password every time they forgot. It facilitated an easy launch within 11 minutes and a guaranteed strike within half an hour.
It's 47 minutes from the time the bomb launches, and I didn't see a news or anything. Drew really get the jobs done! I'm sure my friends at NYC would be fine.

As a geography nerd, I can’t help but notice that the ussr never covered some of the territory shown here. For example, they never owned northern Mongolia or China (although Mongolia asked several times to join them), and Finland seceded as soon as the ussr formed)Q
