Outstanding reaction! Amira is originally from Holland, but has lived in South Africa near Johannesburg for the past several years with her Mom and brother Fincent. During the making of this video, they, along with her boyfriend, were on vacation back in Holland visiting her Dad. This is the church of her childhood in which her Dad is the organist. They strolled into it on a Saturday morning and decided to record this. She spontaneously chose the song, her Dad is playing the organ, and her boyfriend is recording it on a simple cellphone! No sound mixing, no auto tune, just the raw, incredibly beautiful, real deal! Amira is an angel of God inwardly and outwardly! She is a strongly committed Christian who believes and lives her faith in Christ! Please react to more of her wonderful videos! Translated, the title basically means “Baby Jesus.”
That's what is known as an "Unplugged" performance - i.e. there is no "sound desk" involved. Just Amira and a cell ' phone. So what you are hearing is the sound she produces.
Great reaction, man! I'll tell you a few things that aren't hyperbole. What Amira did in this video wasn't half as powerful as what she could do. And today, after spending a whole year at university dedicated entirely to music and classical singing, she is ten times more powerful and her characteristic ease of singing has increased significantly. Amira is now much more unbelievable and has the confidence of a music goddess.
One of her specials to me.... that Gesu Bambino Just other worldly.. Similar.. but yet comlpetely different.. is the song she did as her contribution to an online concert by different artists for veterans. The sincerity and her way of giving the song onscreen directly to the veterans - as if she was there with them... is amazing. The song is 'When You Wish Upon a Star' ... with introductory words from Amira herself .. I think you'd appreciate it.
When Amira sings... she reaches into you and take your heart in her hands and gently massages it with God's Love... you were struggling to hold back the tears.... even at a the age of 9 she caused grown people to weep with emotion
