This game is a beast with all it's tokens, cards and bits and bobs. It really helps if you have some organisers. I can fit it on my table in a much smaller space and that certainly helps with the astetic appeal. Its one of my faves for sure. I like playing 2 characters. It's really no extra hassle.
Maybe I'm a little hazy on actual game terms. I mean playing 2 handed as it were. Your allies are only a small card that sits by your Character card. I like the interaction it brings. Its the same with Arkham Horror which this game is heavily inspired by.
Crinklechips Oh my mistake! I misread your comment as being about a different game/vid. You are right of course and I can see playing 2 or more would work.
This game has one of the best adventure decks in existence, imho. It puts a lot of other similar games to shame, and helps with the great immersion factor this game has. Throw in all the phat lewts, and this one really does scratch the itch for me. Glad you liked it too!
Very nice solo review. Really enjoy you're commentaries. I picked up the game, promos, core minis all new and at bargain prices a while back but it hasn't made it to the table yet. Now I have the itch. I also Agree with you about 'A Touch of Evil'. I might also add 'Dead of Winter' for it's thematic gaming experience although both ATOE & DOW are multiple character playing solo experiences.
Last I heard from the developers, they didn't have any immediate plans to reprint the expansions. Maybe that has changed more recently, I don't know. I know that I only have one of the expansions and wouldn't mind having more of them if the prices weren't jacked.
I tried to find out info about that too and didn't get anywhere either... I'd love some expansions too even though there is quite a lot in the base game alone.
This looks pretty cool. I was on the fence about buying this cause I went all in for the standee version of Secrets of the Lost Station. Hopefully it plays as well or better! Keep up the good work. I enjoy your videos. Even picked up Dungeon Degenerates based on your video. Haven't got a chance to play it yet. On the game rack of shame. ☹
No shipping date yet for Lost Station. Pictures of the miniatures look cool. I would have gone for that pledge but, they are just way to pricey for me.
Tom Zebro Totally get that. It’s so expensive for the plate costs for models at such small runs it makes it almost impossible for consumers. While I don’t love the standees in this game and the monster cards I never use except flat, at least it keeps the game within purchase reach for me. I’m excited for Lost Station! These mechanics will thrive in that setting.

Crinklechips You mean two factions? That seemed like a lot to manage because it would be 10 characters...

madDdog 67 Adding it all together-the scenario book, the loot, the adventure cards-it all really works to create a pulp world/feel.

Grejam53 Glad you enjoyed the vid. You’ve got some good gaming ahead of you. I haven’t yet played Dead of Winter...

Nice! You got it! :)
The Dungeon Dive Yes-and no regrets about it

Tom Zebro Thanks Tom. I hope you like DD! I’m very interested in Lost Station. Is there a date yet for it?

@@GeekGamers01 sounds like it should be a lot of fun! Looking forward to getting it. Now finding a place to store it will be the next challenge. Lol
