Out of towners: “y’all hoods pretty clean.” Me driving: “This place is a dump. Why do I live here?” 🙄🤦🏾♀️ Milwaukee is a hit or miss. You have your good spots and your hood spots. But Atlanta hoods, makes Milwaukee look like Beverly Hills.
U gotta come to the northwest side next time, this is just the regular northside. The northwest side hood is in the bigger numbers like 60th, 76th and 92nd by Hampton, Silver Spring and Mill road. In 2010 they tore down Westlawn projects on 64th & Silver Spring where I grew up. That used to be the biggest projects in the state of Wisconsin. It looked like 6:38 (that's Northlawn projects btw) but it was like 5-miles deep. The northwest side is where all the run down apartments are though, the northside u drove through is mostly just houses, the northwest got more shootings though.

Sarah Jane it’s kind of dry here (socially wise), but there are some really nice fun spots and it’s quiet and a little safe. We don’t have like as many local food spots like a place like the Bronx. And, there’s only 2 big malls and the rest are decent.

I always go to Milwaukee to shoot modeling campaigns for kohl’s and they put me in a hotel right outside the Mayfair mall. Well one time I met up with this chick on tinder and she lived around here, long story short, not my best idea... it’s sad that some people have to live this way ☹️

So... no one takes pride in their living quarters in cities? Why does every yard and home look like absolute trash? Not trying to be rude, but even if nothing in my home worked and was falling apart, I'd still want it to look and smell clean. I'd still want to make it my own, even if I lived in a cardboard box, I'd find some flowers to put in a corner and pick up the trash nearby.

We got GDs, VLs, LKs, and MPs. Those are the gangs you'll see most people claiming. No Blood and Crip sets here...there are individual Bs and Cs who move here from other places for a better life though. Theres many more smaller cliques that be out here doing what they do also. I remember one of the first MKE vids was around my part of riverwest/Harambe. I kept thinking dude should head toward 35 and fon du lac at least. Or head west down burleigh through the cemetery.
Next time in Milwaukee, go down 25th St between State and Wisconsin. Lots of history.
Out of towners: “y’all hoods pretty clean.”
Me driving: “This place is a dump. Why do I live here?” 🙄🤦🏾♀️
Milwaukee is a hit or miss. You have your good spots and your hood spots. But Atlanta hoods, makes Milwaukee look like Beverly Hills.
South and north side of Milwaukee completely different
One of the better looking hoods , but don't be deceived !
Shout out the Mil from VA. My muvah from Racine and got family in the Mils
27th n Capital 💪🏾Moms lived here since 18. I'm 25 and she's 65 now
i heard 60th and captial is REALLY bad
@[cooler] xVS 1[UNIT] To be honest, nobody in milwaukee really give a fuck about minnesota. We more rivals with chicago than anyone else.
[cooler] xVS 1[UNIT] nobody gives a shit about Minnesota 😂
We called it The lawns or west world...grew up on 61st Birch.
Everything and everywhere in the world right now is so empty
I wanted to visit Milwaukee when I was in Chicago , I didn't get round to it but thanks to Charlie I've seen a little of it 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇸
Milwaukee is a historic irish city ain't no one want British people here anyway
Bruh Moment stop talking out of your ass , Go and enjoy your lonely life
Sarah Jane When you get the chance , visit , I visited three times and I think it’s a beautiful city , People In the midwest a pretty laid-back and friendly, It has its problems on the northside and the southside , But you wouldn’t be visiting them areas anyway , But Milwaukee has some great history and some great places to eat, and if you like your shopping it has plenty of shopping malls on the outskirts , You would enjoy it 🇬🇧🇺🇸
Irons 11 oh thank you for all this information and what a shame I didn't visit while in Chicago years back ( my emoji is my sons mine craft ) I'm an Adult hahahahaha people presume I'm a kid, thank you so so much as I wasn't sure if it was quiet and Chicago was the only vast city.. Iam hoping to see NYC too it's not my list.... Take care , God bless 🇬🇧🤗🇺🇸

Ayyy you went to the Midwest I requested it yesterday I hope you did an interview I’m super curious about they accents and what goes down here keep these vids coming Charlie 💯
CIC Beauty TV I don’t think we have accents, maybe some of us, but I usually don’t here one. Probably because I’m from here though 🤷🏽♂️
SXG very true I actually never met no one from Milwaukee tbh lol only on tv and they have accents so I wanna see if the shows be spreading lies about y’all lol
I don't think we have accents either😅But I've heard that I'm country from people that I say have a country accent🤣 I don't get it.lol
SXG what's it like here, do you have big malls etc etc I wanted to visit here when I was in Chicago but I didn't get round to it :(
Sarah Jane it’s kind of dry here (socially wise), but there are some really nice fun spots and it’s quiet and a little safe. We don’t have like as many local food spots like a place like the Bronx. And, there’s only 2 big malls and the rest are decent.
Folks were driving GTA5-crazy before C19, I wonder how bad its going to be once we re-open for real, and people _don't_ have the roads to themselves any more...
Lived in Philly until joining the Marines. I came to the Milwaukee area in 2005. (Married and Divorced between 2002 and 2019.) Milwaukee changed and the viewer can perceive if its for better or worse.
I say for the better. They cleaned up a lot of Milwaukee, they gon start gentrifying it soon watch
This actually don't look to bad compare to alot of places
Jeremy Raw cause people ain’t outside. Our hood got hit hard with the Covid. Nothing sweet about no where he drove in this video
I always go to Milwaukee to shoot modeling campaigns for kohl’s and they put me in a hotel right outside the Mayfair mall. Well one time I met up with this chick on tinder and she lived around here, long story short, not my best idea... it’s sad that some people have to live this way ☹️
North and south sides are completely different
didn't oprah used to live around there?
Yep!
Her mom, downtown, passed away not too long ago. Oprah grew up here.

@@realniga3012 👿👿👿👿😷😷😷😷
I thought Oprah was born in Chicago ??
You couldn't pay me to live in that area looks real sketchy
Next time in milwaukee do the southside that's where all the Mexicans and puerto ricans are.
Thats fucked up smh..suppose to be mixed all around
@@t.o.dmidwest2189 every city has its areas whers certain races or ethnicities live. Ive been to milwaukee the southside is where the latinos are. Deep southside by the airport is where alot of Muslims live. Northside is mostly black and some hmong neighborhoods.
Milwaukee looks kinda like Chicago and Detroit
Beautiful Holloway apartment buildings on 20th/Atkinson!
That's really some social distancing they got going on there.
Love watching your videos. In the city I see. You gotta come through Racine n Kenosha
So... no one takes pride in their living quarters in cities? Why does every yard and home look like absolute trash? Not trying to be rude, but even if nothing in my home worked and was falling apart, I'd still want it to look and smell clean. I'd still want to make it my own, even if I lived in a cardboard box, I'd find some flowers to put in a corner and pick up the trash nearby.
Exactly. That's what I'm talking about! You don't have to live like that!💯💯💯💯💯
How do you get such clean footage? Do you clean your windshield before every shoot lol... also you never have sun glare. Its incredible!
😂😂
the camera sort of looks like its on the hood not the dash..
You can edit out the angles where the sun glares but sometimes you can get lucky to where there's enough overcast that there's no glare but still good lighting.
i done seen it all.
a muh fuccin boat in tha projects
Go to loomis Dr. if you want to see a really beautiful house 🏠. It has a red barn. In the front , it’s past , a car dealer place 🤗💕 in the summer months , we have beautiful gardens , all over the yard.
Ya man. Mil born n raised. Ya you got some people that just don't play. Like anywhere right. On that note most ya hoods shown if you stop turning them corners so damn fast n try to talk you would get welcomed in. Give respect get respect. Everyone has hard times and good times but family and extended family along with your hood / community is what makes it worth it. Been walked up on plenty of summer BBQs at the park n don't know not nobody but was like ay what up u good, get some food shit son... and bet I fuckin did too, gd them BBQ. Miss that shit. Miss the Mil. Be safe n be happy out there
every car looks like it’s worth at least 10 grand. let me rephrase that....
every car looks like it was worth at least 10 grand in march
Dude people in Milwaukee will drive a BMW or a Merc but will choose to live in a shed.
You think a 10k car is expensive???

What’s the vibe in Milwaukee y’all? What city is it most similar to? Seem like Chicago? What music y’all jam out there y’all be on that jayz east coast shit or that down south type shit ?
Pimpin Aint Dead man I ain’t even know Milwaukee had rappers lol. But u can always tell the vibe of a city based off what music is hot in the city. I always heard bout the pimp game in Milwaukee
@Pimpin Aint Dead more like an hour and 45
As someone from NY who lived in Wisco I'd say the cultures like North Cali, Memphis and Detroit mixed in one. The accents are similar to those places, the pimp game heavy like them, and the love for cars and gold teeth lol like them
Milwaukee is similar to chicago...hell its a 90 mile drive south from here. Im from miltown born and raised. Im from Metcalfe Park also known as "THE TRAYS".Theres a 35% to 40% black population ( for some reason folks on the other side of the country believes there aren't any blacks in Wisconsin. We have local rappers that folks vibe to but we Phuck with pretty much who ever sounds good. We like east coast, west coast, dirty south....shidddd whatever that will have your trunk beatin. We got GDs, VLs, LKs, and MPs. Those are the gangs you'll see most people claiming. No Blood and Crip sets here...there are individual Bs and Cs who move here from other places for a better life though. Theres many more smaller cliques that be out here doing what they do also. We're not that much different from yall or anybody else in other places we're just a lesser known city.
Ronnie Davis oh ok that’s wassup. I never knew Milwaukee was like that I admit I was 1 of those ppl who thought Milwaukee didn’t have black ppl. Until I start hearing about the pimpin down there recently. I’m from Houston,Tx btw
i live in the milwaukee area. If you wanna go to a REALLY bad area, try Triangle North or go to 60th and Captial
Lmao aint nothing wrong with 60th and capitol more than any other place except the bad driving

Now your talkin!
I bet those projects were pretty rough back in the day. They look rather benign now. Or maybe they're not. I've always wanted to visit Milwaukee.
@Pimpin Aint Dead damn lol
Milwaukee is a beautiful city but there are really bad parts of the city Metcalf park is one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the country, the southside which is mostly Hispanic is just as bad as the north side if not worse as there is more organized crime like the latin kings, Mexican posse, and Spanish cobras
Yeah BG from cash money had to go there to get his chain back
Pimpin Aint Dead I been reading your comments G. I feel like you should make a channel. Prolly got some dope stories
Back in the day you couldn't go in hillside projects unless you knew someone. Its very different now. Fiser forum where the Milwaukee bucks play is 1 block from there. You know they gon clean that up!
Lovely streets and big houses , I've got to come back and visit the USA again please God
Yo Charlie if you read this can you please go to Roxbury Dorchester Boston ma at lockdown please because it is crazy over here. If you can. Thank you.
Imagine if people who lived in the hood took care of their own shit.
EVERYONE WAS AT WAL-MART SHOPPING.
milwaukee look just like chicago
But cleaner.
Bro I hope you coming back to Minnesota. You skipped Riverside Minneapolis, Lake Street, and East side St Paul. White Bear Ave, Payne Ave, Maryland Ave, and Midway St Paul, University Ave
@Akuma831 Minnesota is very nice!! Beautiful state. But you would get smoked just like anywhere else. It's not the houses that are hood Bru. It's the people 💯
10:50 if you’re in this situation, best do like Charlie and just wait. My city be out here Wreckless...
My hometown! I lived there for over fifty years born and raised. No way would I want to reside there again. Trashy, slummy and full of violence. Shame on Milwaukee!! I've been gone since 08 and don't miss it. Probably cry if I had to return. Yuk!!! And yes my daughter happen to live in Parklawn but moved.
Milwaukee has better looking hoods than most cities to be honest. Even the capital of the United States...Washington dc has hoods. Not even kidding look it up. You know this country has a problem when the capital has hoods. Stop judging MKE when every northern city has hoods.
How do you put a "stay at home" order on the hood. They're ALWAYS at home, none of them work.....true story
How tf would you know if you never been to the “hood”? You closer racist kill me🤦🏾♂️😂

Hello, I am from Ireland and I watch a lot of these "hoods" videos . All I can see usually are endless rows of residential properties but nothing at all like a grocery store ! How far do people have to go for groceries ? If they don't have a car it would seem to me to be pretty much impossible to access a store without walking for miles !
Its not too bad. We have stores everywhere and we have a half way decent public transportation system here in Milwaukee so getting places is pretty easy
There is usually grocery Stores in the area on a Main boulevard or something like that. He drove through side streets
