I found trixter about 5 years ago when I was on a hair metal binge and I have to say this band really stood out the most to me. I try to share them with as many people as I can. Really solid band , you can hear all the heart in their work. Truly amazing band . This background video just makes them even better to me

For anyone who has only listened to recordings, I would recommend seeing these guys live - cause that's where u can grow an appreciation for them. I know a lot of people talk smack about Trixter, but I'm telling u that they're NO JOKE. Steve Brown plays that guitar like very few, he even subs in with Def Leppard. Nowadays it's a pain in the ass to go see gigs, but these guys I would go

Loved you guys since you were a few years older than my friends/band. We got to open for Trixter, and that was an incredible experience, you guys are not only pros, but great peeps. PJ and Steve, life is WAY TO SHORT to carry grudges, for Pete's sake (pun intended) work stuff out with Pete and Gus....even if it's only on a part-time basis. And of course, looking forward to another Tokyo Motor Fist disc. Stay safe & healthy, and wish you two the best of continued success. Tony (Veilside)

17:25 Oh wow man. I'm so glad you saved that big banner from the parking lot. That's a real piece of R&R history you've got there. Some fans actually put a lot of work and love into that thing. It would be so damn cool if you could find who made it and interview them.

Growing up as Borga’s little sister I never realized back then the level of fame you guys achieved. Y’all were just my brothers friends. I only ever saw two Trixter concerts, the first at Paramus HS but knew every word to every song. I’m proud of all you guys and the continued hustled to make great music. xoxo

Man music was so awesome back then, the thrash metal and the heavy metal, loved it, miss those times. I probably went through 3 Trixter tapes. The casstette tape would rip from listening to it so many times. I mowed so many lawns listening to that first trixter album in my walkman at 16 years old!! I discovered the band from that give it to me good video on mtv!!

From one Steve to another, congrats and thanks. I had similar dreams at a similar time and we never made it out of the warehouse my drummer and gutarist lived in which was also our noise factory - but I don't regret trying. I was listening to the Hear album at about that time, wishing that was us on the record :) Hearing this story in such heartfelt detail is actually really nice, a little window into the lives of you guys, a great story of what hard work and big dreams can come to. Thanks for sharing :)

Saw this tour w Scorpions April 1991, drove three hours to see the band (and Scorpions at their absolute peak on Crazy World), Trixter absolutely CRUSHED it. Remember being 19 and I told my buddy $5 says they open with Bad Girl. He was pissed when those notes kicked in! Good share Steve! What a memory rewind

Awesome memory. Happy to say I was there to catch the last few songs. Back then once the booze started flowing it was hard to break away from the tailgate party. As a matter a fact, me and my buds made the "Wild in the Streets video" doing just that. We are hanging out around the fire during the solo. So sad to see that building empty now. Open it back up!

So happy you guys had a chance to experience being rock gods, albeit for just a flash. I know Hear wasn't a big success, but it's one I constantly spin and I'm so happy it exists. Even if most of the world moved on to grunge back then, some of us didn't and absolutely love that album.
I'm from NJ (Chatham) and spent tons of time in and around Paramus. I also saw Van Halen at the Meadowlands in middle school (10/25/91). It's funny because I discovered you guys on MTV and had no clue you were local. And then when I went to buy the album I couldn't believe you had the Continuity comics art on it (I still have every Continuity issue ever made).
Anyway, it was fun watching this and reminiscing.

I can remember going to the Greek church in Tenafly and the one in Fairview, and there was all this commotion about some rock star who showed up for the Easter services.
