Such important information! 🙏 I never knew that blocked heart arteries could show up in the legs and feet. Thanks for explaining the signs to watch out for! 👣
Great Video! One of the main warning signs of blocked heart arteries in the legs and feet is claudication, which is characterized by repetitive pain, cramping, or heaviness in one or both legs during walking or exercise. This symptom occurs due to reduced blood flow to the leg muscles, depriving them of sufficient oxygen and nutrients during times of increased demand.
My PAD was detected by ankle brachial test, and my only symptom was cramps when I was asleep. They used to call them Charlie horses. I’m so grateful the visiting nurse caught it before it was too late. I had never heard of pad before. Luckily with medication and a walking program, I should be fine.

@@AlanCornett-vm7bd Hi Alan, Yes, the cramps are so painful. I have a hard time walking too but they say it's severe hip osteoarthritis. Do you take a statin? I took a low-dose one and it helped. My father had a blocked leg artery. He had bypass surgery at age 62 on that leg. He had to because he could not climb stairs or walk more than a few steps before having pain. At age 72 he had a major stroke with 5 minor strokes having gone undetected until then. He passed away from a massive stroke at age 78. All due to high blood pressure and arteriosclerosis.
