Sammy Pasa she was one of Whitneys favourite singers. Whitney said Christina Was the only one who could do justice to her song run to you other than herself. She clearly loved christinas voice and made it clear she was one of her favourites.
Jessie is a great singer but her vocal style is more of a vocal acrobat meaning she uses heavy verbrato. Her voice lends more beautifully to soul R&B pop songs. Few singers can do both. Whitney could do both. Most pop songs do best with controlled tones. Jessie's best songs have that down south church gospel vibe. Both styles are good for the right voice....neither style is better than the other....they are just different

I didn't credit Jessie J as a creditable vocalist until I watched 'The Voice' and I realized what a huge fan she is of 'music' her enthusiasm for music is infectious. listening to her sing has changed my opinion of her she has a fantastic range, yes she gets carried away, but that's more to do with today's style.
