Go Jack! Although I was actually supporting Tim, I ran for the same club (Crawley AC) and a bronze was the least he deserved .. should have got one in LA too!

Heartening to see Seb Coe trackside as Steve walks off having dropped out but what had gone so wrong in the few weeks since the Gold in the Commonwealth? Surely not just the quicker pace here? I do remember wondering whether the move up from 1500 to 5000 was a good one for Steve at the time and with that wonderful thing called hindsight perhaps it wasn't the best [Edinburgh notwithstanding].
