I just rode this for the first time this weekend. It was one of the first rides of the morning and it was quite cool outside but we were put in the rear car so the experience was much more intense. We rode it again at the very end of the day and it was noticeably faster than the morning runs. Definitely needed time to get everything warmed up to get the best ride. Awesome ride and Definitely in my top 3 roller-coasters.
It definitely looks considerably slower, but after all the complaints, perhaps that retrack is exactly what the "Rod" needed.

Its been nerfed so much. Opening year it FLEW over the top of the mountain. Pure ejector in every seat.
It's nowhere near slow... just think of all of the gravitational pull that rascal takes u through
Just rode it yesterday and I promise it’s def not slow! Hell it traumatized my wife 😂
You can see just how much airtime there is on that quad down by watching the hair of the two people in front of you lol

This is my home park. To me it feels slower since they retracked part of it with i-box track.
I never rode it pre ibox but you can definitely tell it runs slower now
does the updated Lightning Rod use the newer trains like everything post SteVe/Twisted Timbers?

Hi! Do you use sunglasses with camera to record? Because I really wanna record on coasters.. also, if you record with those, can you recommend some cheap ones?
He uses a action camera. I use one too. I consider it easier to record then the sunglasses for some-reason. If you want to record on coasters, make sure ur being safe and you wear a mount, you could get in serious trouble if something happens.

These types of coasters have gotten so horribly rough, such as El Toro.

El Toro just got fixed up. It's smooth as butter now.

El toro is so elite idc if it’s a little bit rough. Also I road it 3 weeks ago and I’m riding it on Friday and it was a smooth as a woodie can get
@@adamdragster you must have a very low tolerance to rough rides then, toro and L rod don’t seem to be rough at all, though they certainly aren’t butter smooth
