This song is built for a perfect closer of the Nightwish show. And it was it for some time. But last weekend's excellent virtual shows it was the third last in both shows. There are both times GLS and TGSOE after this. Oh boy, that those shows were great. Nightwish is live and well after Covid and some unfortunate changes! 😃👍

"Wake up, death boy!" You see Marko pointing at Emppu when they sing that. Not sure what the story is behind it, but the band calls Emppu 'Dead Boy' for some reason. If anyone who knows reads this, please enlighten me.

1. Kai Hatho, Nightwish drummer is also Wintersun's drummer - if you realy want to see at work, the above is a good starting point
2. Jukka Koskinen, Wintersun's bass player is who Nightwish has selected as their session bass player for their coming Human || Nature tour, and he is a damn good bsss player, and he can singa too (although that is not the reason why NW selected him) Check for yourself.

Love you’re reactions so far to various groups…one I didn’t notice yet, as I chew through your catalog…Opeth, their old albums, I mean their newer stuff is good, but it’s not the old, epic version that drew me in and got me hooked. Like the deliverance album, and the song by the same name. Masters apprentice, all good stuff if you got the time and desire, they are great, and at least to me, greater back then, versus now.
Awesome song, definitely love it, I can’t remember what show it was…but doing this song, Marko had the crazy 30’s-40’s fighter pilot helmet and goggles on while they finished with this song, made it even more epic than it is. Was glorious
@matandchels, this song was also the concert closer for the epic legendary Wacken 2013 concert, an even better version of Last Ride of the Day in my opinion. Right after Ghost Love Score and Song of Myself 🤟🤟✌️✌️🇨🇦

Hello Chels and Mat, I'll treat you to the happy moments, shared happiness equals double happiness, you can't go wrong with Nightwish, of course you know that pleasure very well. The end of the show? Not always, in both virtual concerts from last weekend, GLS, TGSOE followed with an outro. Despite the operation only weeks ago, onion Floor in action again. What there is to say about the whole shows. I refrain from muttering words here.Small Marco nostalgia, yes, but absolutely no complaints, only best health wishes, a little more Floor and more Troy. But what they got out of a green room with a few technicians as probably the only spectators without mass energy... respect, special, wonderful, team spirit ... almost....without words.
Everyone is missing Marko...2021 it's not a very good year for fans of some great bass players😞😡🤟🤟🤟
