Thank you, Simon! I love this deck too for many reasons. One is the depiction of the four cardinal virtues as the four women…Justice, Fortitude, Temperance, and Prudence as the World. And as you said, the book is exceptional. Be well!
Wonderful walkthrough! I’ve been on the fence with this deck for years, but your video has convinced me it could bring something new to the table indeed. Beautiful!
Thanks Simon for showing all the cards in this beautiful deck. I actually ordered it and the book yesterday after only seeing a few cards which resonated with me... and I also enjoy Paul Huson's writings.
I finally knocked this deck and book from my wish list this year. Elle from sacred seed I trounced ot to me when I first started studying the tarot 2 or 3 years ago. So glad you like it Simon!! Looking g to hearing about your journey with it this year
Justin Michael called my attention to this deck several years ago. I've not really used it, but your walkthrough has renewed my curiosity about it and I'm thumbing through again.
This deck was actually nicer than I imagined it would be. The colours are really lovely, I particularly like the Fool card for the colouring of his clothing and the shape of his face being like the moon. It kind of reminds me of Deviant Moon art, glad you finally got it 😍❤️
Beautiful deck, just bought mine online. I noticed the Death card doesn't have a title. Would this be a misprint or would there be a reason for it I wonder.
I bought this book a few years back. So as to help me understand Etteilla and the Etteilla card system. It basically has become the way I read and understand tarot. I believe Etteilla is the Great grandfather,..who brought forth opened the portal to Playing cards for divination and fortune telling, and the way we see Tarot today. I haven’t bought the cards yet. But I have been seesawing about buying them for years… I want to note , …for the pip cards, the descriptions in small bold text at the very bottom of the page, are directly, word by word, The (Grand) Etteilla interpretations. They are not Paul Hudson’s interpretations. His is, all the writing above. You simply must research an amazing tarot historian! Who has studied Etteilla in depth. Christine Payne-Towler. Creator of “Tarot of the Holy Light”. She Really needs her day in the Sun. Ok, Cheers. 💐
This is my favorite tarot deck. It's brilliant!

A fascinating deck!
It really is 😍
I finally picked up this deck a few months ago along with Paul Huson's book Mystical Origins of the Tarot. The deck and that book are fantastic!
Thanks for this video. I really like that six of coins. I've had this in my save for later forever. ❤

Me too, I’m so glad I finally decided to buy it 😍
It fascinated me so much when I got it, that I too had to buy the book. It is a wonderful deck.
This is one beautiful deck. I think I’m gonna order it! 👍🏼thanks for showing us 🙏
I think you’ll love it too 😍
Beautiful deck, just bought mine online.
I noticed the Death card doesn't have a title. Would this be a misprint or would there be a reason for it I wonder.
No, it’s quite traditional. The fool is without number and the death card is without name.
I didn't know that. Thank you.@@the_hermits_cave
