Been watching gerbs vids before I even had a si. I had a 97 hatch with a d16y7 dreaming of having of having a si. I’ve had my si for almost 4 years an if it wasn’t for this guy I wouldn’t know half the shit I did. Long time sub an as long as your posting I support.

I know this is video is old. But I like your energetic outlook on it all. I am thinking of going to Roehl next year. I used to drive in the military but I would essentially have to start over as its been decades. I was a yard jockey about 15 years ago. I know its a rough lifestyle. I am not working now. I am clean with no trouble with substances or felonies. I have a bachelors degree and half way through a master's in theology. But I have always been drawn to driving. Thanks for your video.
It's was good chilling with you. Appreciate the shout out. I was like you. I thought trucking was easy, that all you did was drive but it's way way more than just that. Like you said your keeping an eye on everything, for example the other vehicles on the road cause people drive like idiot's. Then you got low bridges, no trucks allowed signs and for me I have to worry about hazmat. But I'm glad your liking it man, the money will come and then you'll be making bank like me

Much appreciation man 🙏🏼… even though it’s tough for me and I say I’m going to get out eventually, what else would I be doing? Sitting in a college classroom learning terminology that I’d forget or maybe working retail?? A lot of long hours, but The money is starting to add up nicely from trucking. Definitely not easy! I've been driving stick shift for 35 years and I wouldn't want to be rowing thru 18 gears. I guess skipping gears is the way to go.
Dude!! I know you’re in loves Hagerstown MD cuz of bowman signs lol but I just literally got my CDL license too and in training. You definitely should do more trucking videos and if you see a blue type R around In Hagerstown area, just know it’s me 😏
Jesus man Wilson logistics pays $900 a week for training but they just turned on my application because of my job history. I just talked to a lady with rohel history. I had a lot of temp job because I have to do what I had to do until I could find something better. If he walks away after 6 months he is still on the hook for $7000. He just needs to complete 120,000 miles on his own to be free and clear. I just got to 50,000 miles this week.
@@huhproductions6124 Really the only way it would be better paying else where to take it now is if in the duration you have left as in xxx,xxx miles that the pay will be $7,000 or more in the same time frame otherwise it is throwing money away.
Do they still have the longer home times as optional? I saw they give a lot of home time optionally to their otr drivers but I didn’t know if that’s still a thing?
I know they have a 7 on, 7 off schedule, just not sure how to obtain that schedule. I plan on switching to it though as i only have 34 hr reset on weekends.
Is driving hard? I dunno, I do know after two years of hard demolition compared to the 2 years of flatbed towing working 12hrs a day. Ain't no way in hell I'd be going back to demolition. But I am looking forward to finishing up my cdlp tests!!
Honestly get some experience and get a local gig. You can make a lot by being local. I’m home every day and making more then OTR people thru J.B. hunt.
Take a practice test or two every day for a few weeks before the test, watch informational UA-cam vids, etc. Is it a process, yes. Is it hard work, yes. The feeling that you get after the accomplishment is all worth it though.
They have a national account, so out 3 weeks home for 3 days. You can call and ask to double check. I recommend dedicated because you're home every week.

Welcome aboard Gerb! I’m a cdl driver for 2 years now. We use day comes and go every night. If I was single I would have traveled across the country
Looks like a unique experience! I’d be down to try it out!
This channel has helped a lot with working on my civic SI. Thanks so much for all the tutorials that you do.

Yoooo keep doing you and what it is you want. I can tell your enjoying this!!
I follow a meal plan. Is there any way to make this work during training? Does the truck have a portable stove, or an outlet for one? And a fridge?
Smart.. trucks have outlets for a mini toaster oven, fridge, microwave, etc. you should be able to make it work
Let’s see some driving videos!
I remember I had to do a 34 in the middle of no where, I didn't even have A good signal for hotspot play PS5 it was Hell
