for preserve jars, I focus on vegetables and roe, unmilled rice is fine if you got it for free (bc extra income, why not) and for kegs i focus on fruit, but pumpkins are the superior "veg" for the keg. Do not waste your time with salmonberries, its so low cost its not worth the time in either kegs or preserves. edit: always use regular quality crops when aging anything. I sell gold and iridium quality raw and sometimes preserve/ keg silver depending on the crop. Second edit: Friending up caroline is worth the tea sapling recipe, sell the sapling and you make bank for early game to set you up. Hope this all helps someone! Sorry its a lot :)
true edit: roe, cauliflower, red cabbage, pumpkin, pineapple, rhubarb, are all good income for preserve. Melon, ancient fruit and even artichokes are decent money. for kegs I stick to some for coffee, beer/hops cycles, and mainly starfruit, ancient fruit wine, sometimes melon and pumpkin
When I started playing, I put hot pepper into the preserve jar in hoping that it will turn into pickled chilli. But it came out as jelly. I was baffled.

This is definitely very helpful for new players like myself. I make most of my money from fishing and the small crop plots I maintain, so I didn't see the point in getting the first sprinklers. This did remind me to start crafting the quality sprinklers though.

I didn't understand it in my first play so i just got it after a year and just make iridium one. In my second play i straight create as sprinkler as possible lol

Very fun. Too bad the crafting costs for the barrels and the time it takes for all the items. I'll still sell them raw since its faster and can use that time for faster progression since I can use my wood elsewhere. But heck for fun and taking a nice slow approach I'll try it.
Tip:don’t use apricots and unmilled rice in presevre jars
How come?
@@soulEATERofcookies just don’t apricots only make 50gold per day and rice is really bad.
I prefer saving my apricots for fruit salad, great healing food and a gift for Haley

Is it possible to play pc version in mobile?
Becauss it been a year and still no update in mobile and im losing patient now :(
Sadly it is not possible to play the PC version on mobile since you need all the keybinds as well. I had to wait a super long time for console too so I feel so much for mobile stardew farmers. :( The wait is so brutal. :/

I tend to play in more of a 'feed the world' style where I most of what I sell needs to be what can be eaten. Preserves work, but I limit how much I do. I only keep a very small patch dedicated for making artisan goods.
