Hopefully next time if you have 1 pilipino guy who can accompany you in your next travel so that it will not happen again. After that, I always travel by plane because it’s cheaper and will only take me 1 hour to arrive, unlike taking the cruise ship which will take 12 hours to arrive in our province. We filipinos ,indonesian and thai are same faces and ethnic i think. When we visit Thailand way back 2018 the police from the train tels us that we are like locals as well 😊.
Actually, the Philippines and Indonesia are the same ethnic group. Thais are a different ethnic and language group. Thais immigrated from southern China and mixed with native people in Southeast Asia. Therefore, Indonesian people may have the same appearance with Thai people in the southern region.

Most of the 2Go Ships are refurbished Japanese boats. I have travelled in a 2Go cruise before from Cebu to Manila and you can see the Japanese signs on the walls on their toilets. It really is great to travel in boats because you can see the view of the islands. You will just pay more if you want a more private accomodation. Glad that you chose this mode of travel in the Philippines. Btw, the 2Go cruises are now owned by SM. They are the Sy Family who owned SM Malls.

I’m from Philippines, and usually we don’t recommend Mindanao for first timer in the Philippines, it is under developed, although there are Plenty of very beautiful islands in Mindanao and Cebu
I heard the food from the Muslim population there can be very different from popular Filipino food being more Malay influenced but make sure to be careful when you're there because that's where foreigners often get kidnapped by terrorists also they even have their own version of Satay in Zamboanga being more reddish than their foreign relatives but again please be careful when you're there

Becareful when travelling to manila especially this area, Tondo near the Port Area some local vendors or drivers cannot be trusted, lots of scammers here. Dont get scammed. Dont be shy to ask to locals as well.

Becareful when travelling to manila especially this area, Tondo near the Port Area some local vendors or drivers cannot be trusted, lots of scammers here. Dont get scammed. Dont be shy to ask to locals as well.

when you sit down on the floor and can’t find a seat and knowing you paid an expensive ticket, I was like 😮. I hope the staff could have guided you all through the proper waiting area. Bec it is like your ticket is premium. But I haven’t gone to that terminal for the longest time. I was still a kid when we took ferry to Cebu. So I maybe I’ll be lost like you.
