- Britain's airlift from war-torn Sudan is underway, with the first RAF flights taking off to bring 4,000 UK citizens to safety.
An RAF C-130 transport carrier was seen on flight trackers leaving an airbase north of the capital on Tuesday morning as the operation was under way, apparently ferrying evacuees to the UK's Akrotiri airfield in Cyprus.
The plane is capable of carrying around 100 passengers at a time.

Their culture is vastly different to our own and when entering the country en masse it's extremely unlikely that they'll integrate, we already have enough illegals coming in, not integrating, increasing crime rates etc. They should be getting rid of those that don't belong in the UK, by force if necessary.

None is strong but it's highly likely the vast majority are not native. I suspect there is a handful of native Britons there which is why they have done this. If that was not the case I doubt they'd fly Commandos in to "Rescue" non-native citizens.

Sorry but why would anyone go to such a risky place like Sudan in the first place ...now these willing lemmings want others to risk their lives in recovering them...surely gov travel advice would have highlighted the risks prior to people going there it would be interesting to see the passports of these returnees to check if any left their and sought asylum in the UK but went back on a visit.?????..
Money is the short answer. Most of them will be financial chancers who will have gained a UK passport by what most of us would call questionable means. Wait for the bedwetters to jump in to argue their case for them though.

@@pierreward5394 yes brits and American are among the last to be evacuated this is due the history of both countries in which both Britain and America are seen as the interveners therefore both British and American evacuation flights are at a higher risk of getting attacked and both Britain and America are stronger countries than a lot of the countries also evacuating citizens so not only do Britain and America have to have a more robust plan in case they are attacked but they have to plan that they get called upon buy some the other nation in case they are attacked

If there are seats on an aircraft left over when the main body of your own people are on board then of course they go to whoever else is willing to get on. Nothing unusual in that. Other nationalities have made their way on to British aircraft in past crises.

True mate and as a bit I feel safe knowing if I was affected by similar events I would be ok but it has taken us multiple rescue operations before finally getting normal brits, we only evacuated embassy staff, diplomats and their familys. I am not well educated on the topic but we didn't start of evacuating as early as other countries and we certainly didn't even civis at first

I hope that all foreigners without exception are all successfully evacuated, it should not be our problem the affairs of these people.
I would also like to vote for no armed intervention there (here I include peacekeeping troops which have always proven to be useless and are just a waste of time and money), it is their war not ours and we already have too many problems to worry about someone else's war.
