      So glad it was helpful! I’m still using the chair and there has been barely any wear. I use it for 4-6 hours every day.

    Thanks for the video. I tuned in to see how the two cushions were to go on. I think that clip for the headrest can also pick up some of the slack from the lumbar straps if you want to hook them into the bottom half of that plastic clip.

    hello! I see you posted this video 2 years ago and no idea if you will notice my comment, but my office chair broke down. Im a big dude, 195cm tall and weigh 149kg. I live in Norway so my options is very very limited. I would rather get an office chair, but there is literally no options for my size. My past experiences with gaming chairs has been pretty bad, I had two and those lasted around a year each, but they were on the cheaper side. The arm rest on the one would not stay in place so if I rest my shoulder or arm on it it would automatically go down and stay there. It was really annoying. The other one I had problems with the seat got too hard after awhile and I started to feel the metal pushing my tighs, so it go very uncomfortable. So I wonder, are you still using this chair and do you have had any problems with it so far? This is the only larger gaming chair avaliable I could find here in Norway, so would love your feedback! Sorry for the long comment and maybe some bad English

      Yes, I'm still using the chair and it is still in great shape. Nothing broken, and no tears. It is very well made and I expect it to last many more years. I'm glad I bought it and don't plan to change to anything else. Happy to answer any other questions you have if I can!

    Hey Nate great video really helped me out, quick question is the rocking feature only for rocking forwards? I thought I would be able to rock in my chair just by slightly leaning back and applying pressure like most chairs, but it only seems to work when I rock forwards which I think is kind of strange seeing as most people lean BACK in their chairs seems like it would get annoying maybe thats just me , thanks in advance if you reply!

      Hey Daniel! Happy to hear the video helped you out! I couldn't find much when I was shopping, so I figured I'd try to fill in the gaps.
      Are you asking about tilting the back of the chair forward and back, or do you mean a rocking motion like a rocking chair that some office chairs have?
      If you're talking about tilting the back of the chair, mine goes waaaaaaay back like I demonstrated in the video, and also goes so far forward that you wouldn't be able to sit in it.
      If you're talking about a rocking chair motion like a lot of office chairs have, mine barely rocks back and forth. Not even close to the amount of movement a typical office chair would have. It's more of a slight movement from the spring, and probably isn't even a half inch of motion.
      Hope that helps! Feel free to reach out for clarification or with other questions. I've been using this chair for six months now (I made the video a long time before I uploaded it), and I'm loving it. It's help up to abuse and I find it to be very comfortable.

      I just set it up after buying another chair that was horrible. Kind of wish the rocking could be adjusted to a bit more. It moves a back and forth to rock but wouldn’t mind if that was adjustable (very much to hardly any)

      @@omf2491 yeah, that would be a nice touch. I’ve had the chair now for over a year and I still really like it. The only thing I don’t like is the “leather” gets kind of hot if it’s not cool in the house.

    How wide are the lower "wings" of the back? How wide is the back before it flairs out with those lower wings? How wide is the area between the tips of the lower wings?

    What about the areas that press up against the outer thighs, seems like those angle up and cause pressure against the sides of the thighs, what is your opinion of this over a long gaming session or music lessons......I've heard varying opinions on this and for this reason am considering the slightly larger and less "thigh" intrusive model Akracing - Office Series Onyx Real Leather Computer Chair. Let me know your thoughts if you wouldn't mind. I'm 6' 3" 233 lbs

    • @NateLeeLLC
      @NateLeeLLC  2 роки тому

      Great question, I wondered the same thing when I was shopping. I don't notice that part of the seat at all. I do "manspread" when I sit in it, and it feels completely flat under my thighs. When I sit in it, my legs (the part just above the knee) go all the way to the side, without hanging off. It looks like it would touch the side of the thighs, or make a big lump under them but I'd never know it wasn't flat if I hadn't seen what it looked like. After about 9 months with the chair (it took me months to get around to posting the video after I assembled it) I'm really happy I bought it. I teach six hour days in this chair and usually have another hour or more per day in it too for bookkeeping, music practice, chess, Command & Conquer Zero Hour, etc. It stays comfortable for me the entire time. Let me know if you have any more questions. A chair like this is a big investment, and I'm happy to help!

      @@NateLeeLLC thank you so much for the info. i decided on the AKRacing Onyx Deluxe Leather (Black), and it's on the way from best buy, HOWEVER, i am now discovering many reviews of the Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022 Series - Size XL , so my decision just got tougher because i could always take the AKRacing back within 15 days. I am so torn right now because i have seen some good reviews on the AKRacing like yours and the Onyx I ordered, which speaks to the brand itself but am seeing really good things about the SecretLabs....what's your opinion between those two ? , i realize you don't have those two but you do have an AKRacing and you probably came across those two when you were doing your initial investigative reviews. Thanks so much for offering your advice on this very important purchase decision I'm caught in the middle of!

      @@NateLeeLLC I will do that for sure. Surprisingly, the AKRacing Onyx Deluxe -Black Leather was at my door today (was supposed to be Wed. of next week) from Best Buy. It's a big heavy box. @@NateLeeLLC thanks a ton ! Chair came in early and I can just sit and look at the box, I unboxed it last night and set it up. WOW, what a chair (AKRacing Onyx Deluxe Leather - Black) , this is off the charts comfortable. Time will tell, armrest move a bit but i was expecting that, not even sure if the armrests will stay on. Feels so comfortable. It's a little cold when you first sit in it, but it's wintertime and Im sure it warms up quick. Love this thing but I will come back in 6 months and hopefully I will have not had to put in a warranty claim.

    Is the seat hardness soft or more hard?

    • @MaestroDraven
      @MaestroDraven 6 місяців тому

      Very, very soft. There's a ton of padding on it, and you sink nicely into it. It's still firm where it needs to be, but when I say "firm," I don't mean "hard." It's perfect. What will really blow you away though is the back of the chair. it's very plush and you sink back into it.

      Somewhere in the middle. Not soft like a couch, but not uncomfortable. The density of the foam is very supportive..

    Is there any way to move the seat (the part where your butt goes on) forward, so it becomes deeper, supporting us with long legs?

    • @NateLeeLLC
      @NateLeeLLC  6 місяців тому

      No, but it has been really comfy for me at 6’ 3”. The height adjustment has a wide range too, so that helps a lot. The seat is deep enough that I can fold one leg under me, so that my whole leg is on the seat, without slipping off or feeling uncomfortable.
