- An Infrared light-emitting diode (IR LED) is a special-purpose LED that emits infrared rays ranging from 700 nm to 1 mm wavelength.
A photodiode is a PN-junction diode that consumes light energy to produce an electric current.
It’s like a light curtain. Very cool!

Can I reverse the action like if any obstacles comes it should turn on and if no obstacles comes it should turn off using arduino uno......please reply
You don’t actually need Arduino for such simple task. I will share a video 2-3 days.

Is it necessary to use an infrared LED? Can we use an LED light?
You must have to use Photo Diode. It works on LED as well, but you will see the visible light, therefore it’s good to use IR LED instead.

Connect ammeter in series.
