Getting to see large wildlife is great. But caution please. Sometimes we get foreign tourists that try to get too close, take selfies etc. I witnessed one Japanese tourist that approached a bull elk on a hill. The elk snorted loudly as if to warn the tourist, but the tourist continued to move closer. Suddenly the bull elk charged this idiot and he was extremely lucky to remain unscathed. These animals are wild, not tame. Bears are everywhere in our mountains and I’ve even seen them while skiing on Christmas Day when they should be hibernating. During the summer, they attack our trash enclosure and I must rebuild it.
Once I had to go back to the books to see just how big moose get here in Northern Maine. This one was turning light brown as he aged, and his eyes were not all red in October. My grandson sent the hunters in the other direction.

The bears are probably thinking "Don't look that way. That's a big moose. You don't want it to come this way."
That Grizzly saw the battle scars on the side of that big ol’ bull moose and thought “ R-E-S-P-E-C-T” .
Those bears are probably thinking, “STAY AWAY, he has blood and guts all up in those horns already.”
That moose looked like it had a paw print on it's side. A mere bounce off.
Grizzly bears encounter Monster Moose. In other news, the average person will encounter seven psychopaths every day.
Grizzly would have to be crazed by hunger to even consider going up against that Monster.
That moose is talking so much trash to those grizzlies..
2020 that still funny as Fu&+🤣
2022 still funny
2024 and still funny yeaaaaaaaah
How much years until someone after me will reply??
The eyes locked for a moment. The feeling in the air was palpable. "Not here, and not now," they both thought. "Otherwise-no matter who wins, or how much is won-both of us will lose _something."_
And so, on a mild Alaskan summer day, two monsters among the world's finest folded on the same gamble.
I lived in Alaska for 15 years. I've seen more wild bears in person than most people have seen on television and in zoos. I've seen both Black Bears and Brown Bears with fur that ranges from blonde to cinnamon brown to black. That bear is a juvenile Brown Bear. He's young. That's why he's smaller and has a narrow face.
Nice. Did any of the bears ever approach you in a not so friendly manner? I only ask because if so then I want ask what did you do to survive?

It looks like the moose has some old, deep scars from previous encounters?
wouldnt surprise me. the right flank looks like claw marks from a bear that healed over
He's like a walking snowplough wearing tree branches. Moose are class. You can always tell when a herbivore has confidence when it walks straight past FUCKING BEARS and bearly looks at them
@@fredze-om9qv I think your the only one out of 9 people who got that🤣
1:04 - 1:14
Moose: "Hey! You lookin' at me?! You want a piece of this?!"
Bear: "Whoa, hey - no trouble here - just taking a little stroll.... we're good!"
Moose and bear casually enjoy each other's company.
Evil bred elk
Elk
The moose is so big it makes the grizzly look small!😳
They knew that moose was too big of a stud.
That moose like “yo I dare ya’ll.. word to everything I love y’all better not”
@H M Angry moose is still a threat to even grizzly. Predators dont usually risk getting injured.
1:48 the body language tells everything. If that bear could talk it would be, "holy s**t, guys, look at the size of this motherf**ker!"
Check this one out! Incredible bear fight

The Alaskan Coastal brown bear gets 9-10 feet tall and weigh over 1000lbs and when they see that moose they say NOPE
Wow that moose was staring at the bear hoping the bear would attack. He was like come on I dare you and the bear was like, uuuh check please.... That moose looked freaking powerful!
I'm guessing that's not the first time that bull has faced a Grizzly. Notice all the vertical scars on it's back?
rioclaro2 I didn't notice the scars
More likely a fight with other bull moose.
A moose that size would fuck up a bear
That Moose is nearly twice the size of the bear. The Bear is smart enough not to mess with the Moose and the Moose doesn’t seem too concerned either so it’s all good.
Very difficult footage to shoot with all animals framed very nicely multiple times. Well done!

Bears are like moose what moose i don't see a moose 🤣🤣🤣 moose is like WHATS YOUR NAME???
What most people don't realize, is that grass in the opening shot is probably 6' high...
Moose and bear go on vacation with each other........
When the grizzlies start to huddle up for protection in numbers 'cause they're nervous 😂
Great video! Nice to see people still watching wildlife! :D
You could tell that moose has had previous fights with grizzlies before by the claw marks on his side and shoulders.
It is so interesting to me that at 2:20-2:30 the sow brown looked at her cub as if to say, "Stay here. Leave Mr. Moose alone."
That Moose considers the Bear as a mouse...and just walks...
Even large grizzlies would think twice about attacking a giant bull moose.
Yes, occasionally if given opportunity they can, but especially not when the rivers are full of salmon!
The moose looks like he is antagonizing the bear! The bear is like" you talkin to me?"
This is one of the best videos capturing Moose and Bears that I have seen yet...keep posting!
Agreed, honestly I came here linked from a video of a moose running through snow, so I wasn't expecting any bloodshed. A lot of people online tend to look for shock value though. People are weird sometimes. Again, a great capture and I hope you get a chance to capture more videos like this.
Sniffing-around for animal-gore, you have room to talk!
we aren't into moose hunting here man, sorry
Good 👍👏

I am always impressed with the size of these animals. It towers over the grizzly which already towers over a human. If you have never seen one of these up close search for videos on youtube about Canadian hikers stumbling onto a large bull moose crossing their trail. You will see the scale of this thing next to human being and be amazed at its gigantic heft!
Well said.
Yeah, or just look up and have one looking in your back door at YOU!!

Bullmoose was thinking, "Hm, grizzlies. Whatever."
Watching this video was worth the time, only because your probably never going to see a larger bull moose. That guy is simple magnificent. Wish I had been there with my camera.
Thank you!
I don't know why y'all complaint about the title it represents exactly what happened. An apex predator and a big ass moose had an encounter. Nothing happened, but this is still an encounter because you know damn well both of those animals were sizing each other up.
facts !!
That is an enormous bull, as heavy a moose as I have ever seen.

Crazy how those little twig legs can support such an enormous body .
Even with its back turned them bears aint even THINKIN about fucking with that beast lol. Not even an option.
Beautiful animals and stunning photography! Thank you for sharing!
Amazing footage, well done. That's one BIG-ass moose! Look how dense the hump of muscle is on that moose's back! It must weigh close to 1,200 lbs.
Probably weighs closer to 1400 or 1500 lbs.
@@TheIrishrogue68 Yeah, 1,200 isn't too big for a bull Alaskan moose.
Title is fine. They encountered each other. It didn't say there was a fight.
Thanks for the up close view, wow ,what a massive guy, he's wonderful. Hope no one shoots him, well, yeah, gotta eat, but leave the big guy. Are those old claw scars on his right side?
That bull definitely weighs more than 1500lbs what a magnificent creature, beautiful bears I just love nature🤎🤎🤎
I do not think a grizzly can take this moose down unless he was injured or sick, that bull moose means business.
this majestic moose,is only for watching, and beeing proud,to live in this wild and clean nature !!!!! i hope, nobody try to TROPHY ON THIS MAJESTIC CREATURE !!!!!
this video is incredible.so well done !!!!!

Hey mom, why are we all eating ants instead of bull moose meat? Ok son, you go get yourself some bull moose meat. Let me know how that goes. If you are still alive😳😳😳
I've seen a lot of Moose, that one is a tank, must be close to 2000 pounds and huge. Look at the fn rack on it. Looks more like a Stegasaurus than a Moose at certain angles.
The Bear had two cubs , even if she won the contest she would have been injured and would not been able care for the cubs or hunt for herself . Animals are smart. Both the Bear and the Moose realized this . Besides this Moose was very large and capable.
"Don't worry it's Friday - fish day", said the Roman Catholic bear to the Protestant Moose.
What a beautiful animal, it shows might and power.
Nice to see what happens when easier meals are available and a little respectful distance given in nature.Great filming, and my favourite type of commentary👍

It always amazes me when trophy hunters (NOT THIS PERSON) claims that they only do what nature already does.
NOOO, nature does not kill the Bulls or the top Male animals. Nature stays clear, man doesn't!

Title had word Encounter in it. Viewers expecting a fight.
I'd love to visit a country where you can see wildlife like this. It's amazing. My country has nothing in the wilderness that compares to that. Birds and bugs is about as ambitious as it gets. The big animals just aren't there. Totally wanna go there and see things like this.
@@tonym2513 Hes dead
Getting to see large wildlife is great. But caution please. Sometimes we get foreign tourists that try to get too close, take selfies etc. I witnessed one Japanese tourist that approached a bull elk on a hill. The elk snorted loudly as if to warn the tourist, but the tourist continued to move closer. Suddenly the bull elk charged this idiot and he was extremely lucky to remain unscathed. These animals are wild, not tame. Bears are everywhere in our mountains and I’ve even seen them while skiing on Christmas Day when they should be hibernating. During the summer, they attack our trash enclosure and I must rebuild it.
moose: *stares*
bears, in unison: ion want anything to do with that
Once I had to go back to the books to see just how big moose get here in Northern Maine. This one was turning light brown as he aged, and his eyes were not all red in October. My grandson sent the hunters in the other direction.
