Jayne sure if your glasses have varifocals?. I got my first pair. It took me six months to get used to them!. Now they are amazing and I can see better than with my lenses. Something to do with eye muscle memory they said?. I have no clue. Thankyou for another lovely vlog xx
Phew yes I’ve got a booster lense in the bottom bit so it’s like a mild varifocal it’s so hard to get used to change isn’t it xx
We've been going to the same opticians for over 20 years Jayne they are a small business but they are all lovely and i know them really well and very often just pop in for a chat .when i have my eye test they are always honest about whether i need new glasses or not. My hubby decided to go to specsavers as he thought he might get a better deal (traitor😂) anyway not only did he pay way more than expected but hes had to go back several times to have the lenses adjusted. Safe to say hes decided to return to our regular opticians 😂 love the flamingo print 😊

I follow a lady who posts a vlog every Sunday, her name is Suzy Grant and her channel is Alternative Ageing. She buys vintage frames and has lenses put in, she also has prescription sunglass lenses put into them, they are beautiful and match her outfits. She is quite famous apparently and has interviewed famous people. She lives in Brighton but is invited to swanky do’s in London and coordinates her glasses with her clothes, also mostly vintage! Have a look Jayne she has some great specs!

Hi Jayne I know exactly what you mean about glasses since I've had my new ones which I only wear from reading and screen use I've found when I forget to put them on I can't see to read my text messages very well before my eyes seemed much better. 🤓💞

You should take the glasses u found and had on all night to opticians and get them to compare the new and old lenses againt your eye test results ❤

I think the trick with varifocals is you move your head not your eyes to look around ❤❤❤
