    Love your videos, love that this are single take walk through, so please don’t take offense with this comment, because I want more of these entertaining videos. Double burning stainless steel sink, first time I have ever seen one of those.
    I wonder about those pull outs cabinets, in rough seas do they contain what is in them or can they fall out in the cupboard?

    Thanks Captain Steve, I love the One Take Walkthroughs! I have seen many yachts that have a single door in the main saloon leading to a side deck, that is on the opposite side of the lower helm station. Wouldn't it make more sense to have the one door on the same side as the helm, to make docking easier especially single handed docking?

    • @captstevetests
      @captstevetests  4 роки тому

      You're correct. I always comment on how I appreciate the quick access out a helm side door. But... the added cockpit control station also give you the benefit of quick access to the side deck. Having the door to the port side lets everyone use it, without having to cut across the helm so it's a win too.

      @@captstevetestsI know you love the Belize 66 day bridge. I watched your videos. With the helm seat on starboard side in the saloon, you are looking straight into the right mullion of the three piece front windshield. If you are looking straight ahead of the bow of the boat. The mullion is right in middle of line of sight. Any thoughts? Much appreciated.

    • @OceanLifeNetwork
      @OceanLifeNetwork 8 місяців тому

      You are correct but the mullions are so small that they aren't really a factor. The one to the right is well aft, and the one ahead is quite narrow. I noticed it at first and then it became a non-issue. Also, the lower helm is used more during inclement weather when vis is hampered anyway. With the hardtop version, that lower helm is center mounted.

    Great tour Captain Steve.
    The Belize 66 has been my favourite boat of the last 6 years or so.
    Just starting to wonder though if it's beginning to date now, and whether it needs a modest design upgrade?

      Interesting question. I don't feel so, but that's just an opinion. I think the modern looks can go a little far but this seems timeless to me.

    I have set myself the goal to own this boat in less than 5 years.
    For now I can only afford 1/4 of it.
    In a couple of years I will try approaching the Asian manufacturer (Not Riviera) directly to see what they can do.

    Capt Steve, please consider opening comments on your main boattest channel. I’d love the opportunity to interact more with the boating community and find out other boaters personal experiences and opinions on the various models you test. Are Monte Carlo yachts owned by Benetau? I just watched the newest video and am slightly confused, the design language is pretty similar between the larger MC yachts and the 52 foot benetau monte carlo.

      The comments are open on most of the new videos, but I don't think he owns Boat Test. I may be wrong though.

    Hello Captain Steve this is Brad from Minnesota question to ask you you can do a lot of reviews here in the Midwest to me especially Minnesota where the land of 10,000 lakes so see what you can do about coming up our way and do some boat reviews here please give it some thought I’d love to hear what you think about it

    • @captstevetests
      @captstevetests  4 роки тому +2

      Hi Brad. I'd love to get to that area, but the simple fact is, we go wherever the client's boats are. That's take us (and by us, I mean me...) all over the world and we never get to select where.

    • @bradolsen9981

      Could you put in a request Steve with your superiors I mean there has to be a process to that it will be a golden opportunity for both test.com to come up to the land of 10,000 lakes 10,000 lakes means a lot of boats see what you can do I’d be really interested in meeting you

    • @darthkek1953

      Reds are typically not chilled, indeed they should be slightly warm (the room-temperature of a nice, warm, room). HOWEVER... when it's roasting hot it's fine to chill cheaper reds.
      But you do not chill _good_ reds.
