- We are on a 5 day family snowmobile adventure trip. Leaving from our home in the remote northwestern corner of British Columbia, on the border with the Yukon and Alaska, we are on a 5 day spring break 2022 trip.
We are bringing our dog in the Scooby-mobile on this snowmobile adventure. Philippe rides a 2021 Skidoo Skandic SWT 900 ace and pulls a Brute toboggan.
Leandra rides a 2022 Skidoo Tundra LT 600 ace, and pulls a trailboggan.
Our son Justin rides a 2003 Skandic 440 lt.
This snowmobile adventure is taking us from our little corner in Canada, over frozen lakes, historic trails, the White pass railroad, back to Atlin. We will be gone for 5 days and this is episode 2 of that adventure.
We go through the town of Carcross, Yukon, cross Bennett lake and visit the historic site of Bennett, where the WHite pass railroad train goes from Skagway Alaska in the summer.
We take the white pass railroad train tracks to Log Cabin from where we catch up with the Fantail trail that we have been working on.

Thanks for the compliment Chad. It has been a very mild and fluctuating winter here too. Last weekend -34 and today +2. But, we are planning a pretty epic snowmobile trip for March, in a place where there is a very high chance that there sure will be ice and snow.

What kind of boots do you use
I see there white ones ?
They are called Bunny boots here in Canada. In Alaska they call them Mickey mouse boots. They are Army surplus and consist of a wool liner in between two layers of rubber. They Keep your feet warm at any temperature, and because there is no liner in the boot, there is no need to dry anything at night.

what year ,model, engine size is your sons sled , he handles it very good . how much gas did you burn on the total round trip . Beautiful landscape .
Hi Gary! Thanks! He rides a Skidoo 440lt Skandic from 2003. We burned about 50l of gas each
