Yes it was our on beet harvester and no we won’t grow it again for 2 reasons 1 our nutritionalist says it puts a white fat on young cattle which the fat graders can’t read very well and if you haven’t already seen the video I done on what happens when it fodder beet goes wrong I’d recommend watching it
Fantastic I love seeing older videos 😃👍👍any more?
Lots more where that came from I have about 40 hours of tapes to go through a mix of personal and farming stuff on them

My father bought that 8550 at scrap price and restored it, put a turbo on it and a whole lot of other work
Good tractor, we have a landini 8880 similar to that
I'd the beet harvester have wider than standard tiers or could ya put wider tiers on a beet harvester
Do ye still have the old Landini
No I think my father traded it in for a mf. 699 or a 2720
What was the reg plate of that landini I have one that my dad bought in longford years ago just wondering if your dad owned it at one point
The number plate was DIS 548 landini 8550
Tell your dad she is still going strong working on a diet feeder
Father Phil can't believe it's still going. Could you send him a picture please.
Yep what way can I send it
Send them to farmerphil135@gmail.com
Very interesting video. Was it your own beet harvester?
Will ye get back into the beet when the new factory opens

I had ment for commercial sugar but fair enough
We won’t be growing commercial sugar beet as we need all our tillage land to grow grain for the cattle
The landini looks a Massey but painted blue
