I like how him learning earthbending actually effected Aang’s personality, before he was a bit timid but after this hes showen the be much more assertive. Not just when he stands up to Toph in this episode but him just being more confrontational in general blowing up on Toph in the Desert, being more upfront about his feelings for Katara in book 2 on a few occasions, and in book 3 him rizzing up Katara and then even just Kissing her. All the way down to his argument with the whole group about what to do about Ozai even though Zuko makes it clear h might have to kill him(I’m not spoiling anything they already finished the series last week)
