we live in the timeline where joey&paul r dead & these 2 r alive & in charge of Slipknot. who would have guessed that when they came out in the 90's that THIS shit would b going on 20+ yrs later? totally in shock. it's funny clown can apologize & tell Germany that they had to bail& pull out but they couldn't tell joey that when they fired him.
So raw, so real, so original! Slipknot is still good. But they are very artificial, their sound is so refined and clean. The screaming is higher, their new music is melodic and just feels like they’re trying too hard to sound heavy and brutal like the old days. Their live shows aren’t as good either, but that’s because of their age, there’s not much energy anymore or any risk. They used to be about connecting with the lowest of society, they used to be so different and raw. I hope their new album can bring some of the old slipknot back.
Lol no thay are doing what will get played on the radio. For example lamb of god is one of the best metal bands out there and thay changed up there sound with out selling out so do you still want to argue the facts.
