I still need to listen to Kermode's little celebration show (which this is taken from if anyone isn't aware) as I'm as much a fan of he as of M&L. Going on what they said here their memories aren't what they used to be. They'd both do well to discover your channel GD!
the stuff about the digitisation of media is even more relevant now - obviously it's so much more convenient and I've been introduced to many films that I would never have seen without the internet, but I do sort of miss collecting DVDs (my generation will probably be the last to buy them in large quantities - in a few years even charity shops won't take them!)
