my personal favorite was olsen, her character wasn't a cliché in any way and brought both drama and humor to the movie. the other two characters, although great, I found a little bit more stereotypical.
I guess this movie reminds me of Woody Allen’s Interiors which I suspect is much better. It’s not about an impeding death of a parent but three sisters come together as a result of their parents’ separation and the vulnerability it places on their mother.
I'm you like watching movies where nothing happens it's perfect for you! If you don't just wanna watch 3 people chill in an apartment being sad about their dad doing then check something else out.
I’m really confused about Olsen. Does she always sound like that because it seems to bother me. I thought that way of talking was along side scarlet witch but she does it here too so I’m extremely confused.
My favorite dialog driven film is Sex Lies and Videotape. I really enjoyed this one, too. It's very difficult to do something like this on film. It was definitely like watching theater. Such great, committed performances by the women.
I'm not one to watch or like stage plays, but when it was done I said, why does it feel like I just watched a play?!😂 I got bored and ended up ff small parts like the father's monologue, I just didnt care at that point. The dialogue was kind of over the top and predictable.

I thought this movie was amazing, Olsen and Lyonne were both incredible
I've always loved the Before Sunrise trllogy.
My favorite dialogue-driven movie is The Big Chill.

Natasha Lyonne stole the show
Agreed
Daddio was an interesting movie since the whole movie was in a taxi cab. It wasn’t a great movie, but it held my attention.
Thanks! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Cool

At least it felt organic. They're all over the place as family usually is when someone dies.
The father's monologue??? 😅 That felt like the climax of the movie to me. That felt like such an intense moment in a very non-intense movie.
