Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for. I think you sew better than I do
♥
Thank you for the installation details. TOP as always
Thank you for your demonstration, I found this contraption amongst many other bits and pieces and wondered what it was, brilliant demo
Dang, don't sell yourself short. You did really well for not having done this before! I really enjoy these attachment videos.
Very interesting! I have vintage SIMANCO darning feet for my 201, 15-91 and 403 and all work well, but have never seen this style before. Thanks for sharing
Me neither
Thank you,, i just bought an old 99k,,,and this is exactly what I want to be able to do!!!
"i really need to clean this attachment."
You, sir, are my kind of hobbyist! I always watch your attachment videos with great attention. Always hoping I may come across them and know exactly what to look for, knowing your videos will help in the learning curve to use them.
I feel your first attempt at embroidery was not bad at all. Cheers!
I'll have a go at anything once!
i guess Im kind of off topic but does anyone know of a good website to watch newly released tv shows online?
Love watching your videos and learning more and more about the many vintage machines I have. Thanks.
I'm glad you enjoy them!
I love these videos. Please keep them coming
I just bought a 99 and this plate came with it. I had no idea where it went. I'm missing the spring assembly for the needle and will keep my eye out for one. Thanks for passing this information along.
That is what this is lol
Thank you for your video as I am learning about my singer
from 🇨🇦
I just love seeing these attachment videos! Thank you so much.
Finally! My question has been answered for fmq on my beloved 99k!! Thank you so so much!
You're welcome!
Now i just need to find one that isn’t across the world and $60!
Hi again! Have you tried any other fmq foot on the 99k? I’ve tried using some for low straight shanks without success. Clearly I’m not doing this correctly and getting discouraged.
@@JesusisKing222 No, sorry, this is the only one I've come across so far. I think I may have a modern one somewhere I may be able to try.
Came here for the pedal video, subscribed for this one. Lovely!
Thanks for this video! It was super helpful to me
Is this the setup for free motion quilting also? Great video. Glad you were recommended by UA-cam.
I'm not familiar with quilting (i'm not really much of a sewer) but I think it would work well.
@@CurioByBSpokeDesigns Thanks!
Very useful. Thank you. I have this plate for 20 yrs but donno how to use 😂
I also the same
Hey I have a singer 66-18. At least I think that’s what it is. I know it’s a 66 but not 100% which. Would this work with that? I also when I’m looking on eBay the plate is called 32622 and none of them come with the spring loaded needle clamp. Can you do it without the clamp? Thanks
Yes, it will work with your 66. You can get a generic darning or free motion embroidery foot (any that fit a low shank machine) The cover is needed as the feed dogs don't drop on these machines.
Hi I have a 201k 1955 model but even with the feed dog's down it will not do freemotion without putting a darning foot on. I dont want to use the darning foot as it's hard to see where I am stitching. Watched your video it was great is there something similar for the 201k thank you
There are many different darning feet for low shank machines like these. The key is to find one that suits you
@@CurioByBSpokeDesigns Thank you I have a darning foot but just wanted to use the needle not the foot. I think I may have sorted it now. Thank you for your reply much appreciated.
Good
Will this work on a Singer 15? (is that a dumb question?)
Yes, as long as you drop the feed dogs, the you don't need the cover plate.
I always wondered how the spring clamps work
Is there something similar for a Featherweight?
Yes, I'm sure Singer made a darning kit for the 221 and I know they did for the 222.
What year was the 66 made
From 1907 until 1939 in the UK and until 1956 in the USA

Simanco was Singer Manufacturing Company - si man co
@@CurioByBSpokeDesigns oh that explains it
I thought they were a contractor that's singer ordered all their attachments and motors from
@@graceygal2664 They probably realised they couldn't fit 'The Singer Manufacturing Company' on the small parts!
@@CurioByBSpokeDesigns why not just say singer torture devices
That way the name would look like the item
