If you dont have a scale or cant eyeball the carrots, I’ve mastered pausing videos and using clues. I paused it and counted the carrot tops on the counter he used roughly about nine carrots from that perspective ❤️ hope this helps and LOVE YOUR VIDEOS THANK YOU FOR MAKING THE CONTENT THAT YOU DO. I just made this for a friends birthday. She couldn't decide between chocolate cake and carrot cake. It was a huge hit and everyone loved it. They also commented on the icing which everyone felt was the perfect compliment and not too sweet. Thanks you!
I just want to say that your recipes have a 100% success rate on my end. I tried following many recipes online for many things but the food/desserts would always turn out "edible" but nothing like what it was described to be. Seeing you make it on video with no weird cut-ins/cut-outs (seeing the flow of how it should go, basically) also gives me a little confidence boost. Like an, "aha, I can make this too!" kind of feeling. So I just want to say, thanks. :D I hope (and know!) that your cookbook will sell super well.

I made this for my birthday yesterday, it was totally delicious! And super fitting since my birthday was during easter! Also, I ended up using the syrup for the curled carrots in order to make an experimental sort of lemonade type drink. I realized while making those carrots that the procedure was very similar to how you'd normally make lemonade, so I figured why not? The carrot-y taste is actually surprisingly nice in a drink IMO.
I just finished this watching and going to the my farmers market to get some carrots and other essentials to make this cake. and I pre-ordered your book! This look so great! Thanks for sharing!

I baked this cake for the office, and people loved it so much. Unfortunately, in Germany, I couldn't find the brick cream cheese, and using the tube ones made my frost really runny, even after cooling it, but all in all, it was a very pleasant experience :)

Hi. I’m making this next week. I’m only using 2 x tins though so it’ll be a 2 layer cake. Do I need to adjust the baking times as I don’t plan on using less quantities of the ingredients (except for maybe the frosting)
Last couple cake videos I notice the lack of cake bands to keep the tops level. Is that just due to the nature of the cake or has that technique fallen out of favor?
I have a nut allergy... Can I use a seed for that crunch? If so can anyone recommend a seed that would complement this cake? Pumpkin seeds/Pepitas? Sunflower Seeds? If not seeds what would y'all recommend to replace the nuts?
Hopefully what you mean by veg oil is Not Canola. Maybe avocado or coconut-both fruit oils canola is sooo baaaad. Never feed that to children. Very yummy cake.

I never heard of a carot cake with pineapple🤔 the only reason someone would put it in there is so the cake isn't that dry..but you can use so many other things for that🤦🏻♀️😅

I messed my cake up..the top layer slit into two..the icing wasn’t nice at all.. but this was extremely delicious
Could you use some amount of maple syrup (along with or in stead of sugar) to candy the carrots

Oh wow! Pineapple in a carrot cake is not something I’ve ever heard of.
You can always try apple puree instead of pineapple 🍍
