I love Audible and they have the best narrators. I also get audiobooks from the library (over the computer) and sites for the blind. Audible is hands down the best. By the way, I just heard from my nephew who is a lineman in Texas and he says he's moving to Oklahoma! Small world. Hugs

Very nice bookmark. I'm reading "Never Broken" by Jewel. I fell in love with her music the first song I heard. Watching several interviews, I realized she was a very special person. A couple of years ago, I realized she was part of the family on TV, Alaska, the Last Frontier". Her lyrics speak to my soul, she is feminine, dresses modestly, and truly beautiful inside & out.

I create my own book marks with old marriage invitation cards, which comes in various colors and qualities. I collect small flowers/leafs, let them dry in a book (or under bed wrapped in paper). Then I simply arrange them on the piece of card and cover them with a piece of clear plastic. Make a hole, insert a ribbon or fancy thread through it.
Done! And the best part is you can go as creative as you want to with the shapes and arrangement of decorations.
    I am currently reading Toottochan.

Cute project Whitney and easy. Mostly read audible books. Currently reading "Pure" and just finished "The Shoemaker's Wife" I keep track of all my books on Goodreads. It's an excellent site and highly recommend it. You can keep track of your book challenges there too. Hugs

I just went to audible (have a ton of their books) and listened to a sample of yours. Excellent! I see you narrate mostly children's books. That must be fun. I had no idea Audible was in Oklahoma. By the way, Audible had you listed with 199 books! ha ha Big Hugs Eva Let me know if you join (free) Goodreads and I'll friend you.

I always like to use homemade or sentimental bookmarks. And what I mean by sentimental is if I go to a place and I find a really cool bookmark I'll usually buy it its reasonable price. I have you been found one and my favorite hotel. But I also make my own with embroidery and stamping.

I like to use an elastic headband for a book mark, because it also holds the page open so I can read outside in the wind or if I lay the book on a table to read. That might make a beginning for a project. How would you decorate an elastic headband? You know, the kind that look like a huge pony tail elastic?
I'm reading two books at once, 1. The Reluctant Matchmaker.a free book on the nook site. Silly romance category, and 2. The Great North Road by Hamilton. sci fi cop procedural

I read alot of non fiction but have been reading more fiction lately. I had a goal of 20 books but increased that to 30 books for this year. I'm sure I will end up reading more than 30. My goal next year might be 48 or 52 books. I use my receipt from the library as a book mark if I am reading a library book. I also bought a big bag of books marks from Goodwill last year that I use. They are all from the 80's and have great pictures etc on them.

I'm reading The Picture of Dorian Gray and Heart of Darkness at the moment (in English, I'm from Germany) but also Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey. I'm one of those people who switch between readings.

Thanks! Kids books are a lot of fun to do :) I don't actually work for audible, I work for an Oklahoma based publishing company that is partnered with audible. Hehe only 195 of the 199 books are mine, the other 4 aren't me :)

I like magnetic bookmarks. They are small and I can use more than one in a book (sometimes I mark pages for later reference). Currently, I am reading The Third Jesus by Deepak Chopra. I do like your bookmark:)
