Kyle lost it when taylor said spook. 😂😂
Funny Games and Last House on the Left is the stuff that still gets to me, in an it could and has happened sort of way.
And Martyrs.
Martyrs isn't really a scary movie but very disturbing for sure. Even as a seasoned horror movie guy the flaying scene got to me
@CamMackay96 Agreed. It starts off as sort of a revenge thriller and just straight up disturbing at the end. Feels almost like two separate movies. But that imagery fucked me up more than most horror movies.
The Strangers
You're welcome
13:13 Woody got emotional damage from that lmao
Withdrawal from the emotional bank acc
Sinister is the only movie I can immediately think of that scared the shit out of me
Absolutely. The mix of jump scares with sick twisted aspects, so unsettling
actin' like a bunch of sissies. However, assault with a deadly weapon, very, very serious offense.
I watched Sinister by myself at like 2 in the morning and I stayed up until the Sun came up before I could go to sleep 😂
It's number 1
It’s the soundtrack, it’s terrifying
Hereditary ftw
yea Hereditary is probably my favorite horror movie, especially surprising because of how newish it is
John Carpenter's 'The Thing' is absolutely a fantastic movie that anyone who hasn't seen it - needs to!
Sucks overall but the setting of Chernobyl Diaries is one of my favourites, being stranded in an abandoned area with freaks that live there and wanna kill you is a scary premise. Similar vibe to the original Hills Have Eyes
halloween,hereditery,jaws,the shining,the witch.
Hereditary is the most recent one that freaked me out. Something about that movie was just scary
There’s so much going on in the background, including Cult members hiding in plain sight
The Descent did it for me. Huge build up, not able to see a full monster for a while, lots of trouble escaping, and claustrophobia.
"Fire in the Sky" scared me so bad I couldn't sleep. I think the ones that are scary are the ones that have a possibility of happening in real life. Like when the Blair witch project first came out.
The crab walk down the stairs in the exorcist did it for me. I think its the only scene that legit scared me.
The Shining is still one of the scariest films ever made
“Syndecoche, New York”
You’re not welcome.
I started that but need to watch it fully. Didn't know it was gonna be scary
Kyle describing the thing crawling on the ceiling is gonna give me nightmares tonight
Lake Mungo, Deranged: Confessions of A Necrophile, Pulse (Kairo), The Last House on The Left 1972. Just a few
I used to watch horror movies on lsd and laugh my balls off, I’ve seen all the popular home invasion movies home alone tripping sack so it takes a lot to freak me out.
The babadook got me when I was just baked. I didn’t expect much from the movie and I watched it right before I was about to go to bed. The scene that got me is when the mom and son are hiding under the blankets in the bed and when they pull the covers down the babadook is on the ceiling above them. It scared the shit out of me but I kept watching the movie till I finished it.
I laid down to go to sleep like normal and all I could think of was that scene where he’s on the ceiling. I won’t lie I hid under my covers that night and I was in my 20’s atleast lmao
I did shut off X tho when I was on acid. I watched the movie up to the point the old lady started getting naked. I just got fed up honestly, there is a million things I can do on a trip why the fuck am I watching this old lady strip naked so I shut that shit down real quick.
The new version of pet semetary scared me too on shrooms and I had to turn it off 15 minutes into it because the vibes were bad. On shrooms and strong edibles the movies actually scare me but on acid I don’t give a fuck, I’ll watch a horror movie in an abandoned house and not flinch
The grudge probably freaked me out the most. That sound the ghosts make still makes my stomach drop
Ive watched some movies in the dark with headphones. That usually makes the movies way more scary and effective.
I dont watch movie like that anymore but i remember actually getting creeped out that way.
Watching it normal is cool, but i dont usually get the same level of creepiness
Dark skys is seriously underrated. Alien abduction is plausible enough that the subject is actually terrifying
Never been scared of movies but a game that had me scared to turn corners was fear 2. Haven’t played it since I was 11 but it’s the only media I’ve ever genuinely had adrenaline from and I’ve beaten every RE game they’ve made.
taylor is just looking in the wrong places or not at all check out the visit.
The Strangers
Super underrated and just hot damn. Fuck that
Hey Taylor, if you haven't seen it, check out The Witch. You'll either love it or hate it, but the whole movie gives you that eerie uncomfortable feeling where you don't quite understand what is happening. It's a period film though, and they use period language and stuff, so it can be a miss for some folks.
Recent favorite horror movie is Talk to Me, definitely worth checking out
@cyphers04luges I have not, always looking for new suggestions. Thanks, I'll definitely seek it out
If you don't mind subtitles, I'd highly recommend checking out a movie from last year called 'When Evil Lurks'. It's very gory, and horrifyingly disturbing!
Just be warned, children don't have plot armor, so if seeing kids get got is too far over the line, probably steer clear of it.
As above so below was a good movie. I found it basically just by chance, looking around for found footage movies. I'll rewatch it from time to time.
The German version of funny games is a rough watch. I highly recommend it. Ps can I borrow some eggs?
Hereditary is the scariest movie because it’s the closest thing to being real that I’ve seen
What's that alien movie where the family is all in the room together when the aliens come? Grey skies or something?
I could t look out windows after sinister
I like the VHS series. Most if it anyway
It still feels weird seeing Kyle the other way around
I don’t think there’s a horror movie for Taylor. Like Taylor you aren’t gonna like something that horrifies you, but try Necroromantics it’s a romance and self exploration
Do you mean Nekromantik (1987)?
@@I_Scorched_You yup, I can’t spell and didn’t want to retype comment best part there is a sequel
Saw this pop in my feed and instantly recognized fpsrussia
Diary of a wimpy kid dog days is terrifying
The Conjuring scared theShitOutOf me i was about 24 yo when i saw that when it came out scared to go to sleep looking up at my wardrobe in the dark hahahaha
You need to man up big fella that's some normie shit
@@CamMackay96 😂😂
Hereditary is my favorite horror movie its the only time I've actually liked a horror movie as a good film with acting that scared me I don't watch horror movies alone and I've never actually had a favorite horror movie until Hereditary all horror movies kind of feel more like experiences than movies to me if that makes sense almost like a roller coaster
Anything A24 makes is usually very good
This topic has been discussed like 5 times already wtf
Midsummer is in the middle of the summer and the sun barely goes down during the night, so it should be bright out. 😆
Are you talking about the ättestupa?
watched one called speak no evil. Whas pretty damm unsetling.
Bone Tomahawk
Troma makes some fun horror movies like toxic avenger
Sam Hyde's favourite
Midsommer is a great movie. Not a good horror movie, but it's really good.
