Run your counter with pulling guard kicking out the end and pull the backside TE also to take care of the lb. Gap, down, backer rules on the front side. Center blocks backside a gap. I think this will help you run it more effectively

One other thing about this offense for research is search Elk River football on you tube. They are the kings of the power T formation

A high school coach in Arkansas created this formation, and to my knowledge it never made it out of high school, If you run this formation in Arkansas a coach can pick it up after couple of plays, if your a high school coach outside of Arkansas with a big QB run this into a state championship, one of the least played good formations in all of football, the creators son just died a couple of weeks ago... This formation is as old as football almost.

It is a very good formation in High School. However, when you get to college the kids are too strong up front and at linebacker and they are really good at reading to make this effective.

My schools rival runs this formation and it is the most annoying offense to play against because they’re only looking for 2-3 yards every play and they use half a quarter for each time they touch the ball

If you get one negative play against the Power T, the drive is essentially over.

How would you block this against a 62 wide

Matt Lane I would down block on the wide DT with the PS TE. I would kick out the defensive end with the 4. You can also pull a guard and have him kick-out.
