- I had a request to show how I do a reverse twist in a bar. Here is the answer to that question, hope it helps. Twisting hot iron can add a nice decoration, this reverse twist is just one of many twisting options possible.

My brother asked me if I would forge him a little poop scoop for his backyard to hang from one of your ball end hooks that I made a while ago. After getting the little shovel together it really needed something to spice up the handle. This will be just the ticket! Thanks again, John.

Thank you John. The reverse twist is pretty nice but the most important thing I got out of that video was the gas shut off valve! I immediately backed it up and looked again 'what was that!?'. I've been shutting mine off or trying to lay it facing something non-flammable while working. I had one ordered off ebay within 30 seconds of seeing yours. It just came in today and will be fully functional by tomorrow. That one item is a big deal to me. THANKS!!

Nice video. I love the economiser on the oxy acetylene torch. I’ve used one myself and had forgotten all about it till I see yours. Great idea if you can put up with the stink of acetylene burning neat.

I watched the video, as I am interested in making twists in my jewellery, which as you would know is considerably smaller material, 3 mm!! I was thinking that with the twisting action it would work harden the metal, so I might get the reversing twist as well as cooling the metal. Thank you from Tasmania Australia cheers!

Did my first reverse twist today on a forge poker! I dressed it up by brushing it with a brass brush!! Wish i could share a picture with ya, appreciate your tutorials!!!

Would it be possible for u to do a video on how u did the double loop on ur marking tool?( without welding and such small amount of steel). I know im getn up to welding heat its just i cant keep the loops properly formed on the 2nd loop. Thanks again for ur awesome channel.
