Tbh it's more of a Basic Attack awoken despite it not increasing the stat, the counter attack scales with Basic Attack. Honestly with how this game's mechanics work. It's a very... garbage awoken skill that could use a couple buffs tbh. The damage is pitiful on the counter for how much it costs, the counter window on the animation for the awoken needs to be frame 1, so it can be a reactionary counter to anything. Sort of like a parry and the charged ki blast needs SOMETHING to make it worth using because atm it's one of if not the worst charged ki blast in the game. I also think that they should add a second counter specifically for ki blasts by repurposing the Ultra Sonic Blitz skill and making it a Tringle or Circle button input after the dodge. It would do little damage, but stop ki stunning and be inescapable for combo extensions. UI should've been the ultimate defense, but it fails because it's defensive options are more limited and easily countered than the base mechanics.
