Lumene(= Lu-may-nay) Is a Finnish brand. Very popular beauty brand here in Finland.
I love their products!!
I love the BB-creme. But I did not consider it high-end, though. 🤔
Yeah, and it's actually considered drugstore here in Finland, our drugstore prices are high though 🤔
Same in Sweden, it is considered drugstore here aswell
We have this brand in Ukraine as well, a bit higher than typical drugstore prices tho ))
You can use Duraline with powders and turn them into creams. Like using an eyeshadow and turning it into a waterproof eyeliner or liquid/cream metallic shadow.
I usually wear drugstore too, but my go-to high end products are Bobbi Brown. Whenever I wear Bobbi Brown I get so many compliments on my makeup, it’s good stuff.
I’ve noticed that high end or luxury makeup is a touchy subject for some people and I really don’t understand it. There are wonderful drugstore products as well as high end, it’s all about what you choose to buy. Things that are between you and YOUR budget, your husband, kids, etc. There is no competition so I really wonder why people can’t enjoy what they have instead of comparing their purchases with other peoples.

@@ts4686 no problem at all. I’m taking Cymbalta. I’m on the lowest dose (every situation is different) and it took six weeks to do what it is supposed to do. Remember there are two classifications of these meds: SSRI and SNRI. Just because something worked for me doesn’t necessarily mean it will for you....maybe talk to a doctor if you are at that point where you want to seek treatment. I wish you love and luck.
You should try the no7 lift and illuminate face powder. It's a dupe for the charlotte tilbury and it's incredibly blurring. I am more oily skinned and it doesn't make me oily, I just get this perfect glow. Definitely no regrets with that powder.
Yes! Absolutely love it. They have bronzer too! The packaging is gold instead of silver. Love it as well!
@@theresas2520 I will give that bronzer a try so far everything by them I have tried has been really good. I tested the powder last night against the ciate watermelon pressed powder and they looked identical. I love how it gives me a soft glow. I am oily and require a matte foundation but with this powder I can be glowy!

Girl, that humidity is so high down there in Florida, just step outside; you are blanketed in a whole body mist! lol That spray is amazing though. lol I couldn't resist. We need to be able to have smell go with our humidity.
I LOVE the lancome lipglosses! My first one was a pink sparkle called 'mirage' and they last a long time on the lips

I appreciate these videos bc as much as I always root for drug store, sometimes certain products are simply worth the high end price tag. I would rather know a product is good, period. Not "good for the price." That skin tint looks beautiful. Still enjoying the WnW tinted hydrator so much
I have found the Grown Alchemist moisturizer at Marshall’s twice last year for $6! Check out Marshall’s every now and then and maybe you can find it there too?

I've bought Lancome Virtuòse mascara years ago in an airport an it cost me 40 dollars but I really liked it because it gave me wispy lashes, did not clump and smudge. I really haven't found a good drugstore counterpart for it.
I'm a Tarte Shape Tape girl but I'm getting curious about the Hourglass Vanish concealer.
I love the nars. I have mature skin. Just a tad dry ! But I want to try it too

Nars does have minis to try in concealer. Their own site will have sales too.
I don't know if 100 Percent Pure is considered a high end brand, their prices are sort of in that Mac price range, but they're one of my current faves...and they use fruit/plant pigments in their products which I thought was really unique! I also adore the Fitglow Beauty Ceremide Cloud Balm...pricey but amazing.
I wear a lot of drug store products but my favorite High End Make Up Products are the Benefit Porefessional Primer, Clinique Mascara, Urban Decay Eye Primer, Bare Minerals Blushes, Morphe Eye Shadow Palettes
If you buy the mascara from her website, CT has very fast shipping and free returns...plus two free samples with every order! I haven't tried FFL, but I like legendary lashes 2.

I'm more than happy with CT eyelash mascaras. They are amazing, full or size or sample. The PILLOW TALK PUSH UP LASHES it's stunning
I just used my 2nd subculture pallet . I really think if this pallet was released today it would be incredible 💙💚
The Pat McGrath concealer and undereye powder is, by far, the best combo I've yet to find and the concealer is full coverage (but not overly thick).
The Tom Ford Traceless Perfecting foundation is my other holy grail. 🧡🧡
hi yes i am attached to charlotte Tilbury Bronze and glow , i too am very pale and its the perfect shade for me , in fact i have just bought a back up its that important to me , i have looked and never found that illusive shade your looking for , so i was overjoyed with this product . you look very beautiful ! my favourite highlighter i found one with estee lauder collaboration with victoria beckham and its limited addition , so i have searched everywhere for this shade and its modern mercury , so i was so disappointed, so looking for another i found on the estee lauder Bronze goddess collection and i found both of which i had fallen in love with and yes there it was modern mercury , so i bought two ! and the fair shade of bronzer was the same shade as charlotte tilbury so yes of course i bought that too , and its identical , so now my two products i love i have found another . my lipstick i am upset as charlotte Tilbury has stopped producing charlotte tilbury The Duchess , i love that lipstick and i went through two bullets , so yes i am still looking for a similar shade . stay safe everyone my love liz from UK xx
I hear you about spending. I've wanted that Visrart pallet for years. I finally got it through my Boxy Charm subscription for $9!!! And it's definitely a favorite.
The mascara is worth getting if you really like it. The new Lancôme mascara is amazing. Ulta has the smaller trial size too

My husband would literally “ go crazy “ if I purchased makeup over $10 .... I tend to like the drugstore makeup. A lot of what I find is on the reduced rack at Walmart... I’ve even find some Physicians Formula for under $5 occasionally.

I usually wear drugstore makeup as well because as a student there really isn't much of a budget for makeup ;) But my go-to item I splurge in is my bb cream from Clinique or IsaDora. I have oily to combo skin and have found it super difficult to find a bb cream or foundation that fit my very light skin tone, that doesn't feel caked on, leaves my skin breathing and that won't go greasy on me within a few hours of wearing it. Especially if I'm in a rush and start to sweat.

I wish I still had my Juicy Tubes from years ago in a pale blue. It was great in color correcting lipstick that turned too orange on me.

Absolutely gorgeous!! As always! Love the final look! ..... I have pretty much replaced all of my high end favs with drugstore products. I'm a mom now too, my money is spent on my son mostly. (And I'm just fine with that. I'd RATHER spend it on him. I love getting him what he wants! And have to get him what he needs) there are a few things I still buy high end, and once in a while (not very often) I will treat myself. But drugstore has come SUCH A LONG WAY!!! especially since I started wearing makeup years (many many years ago lol)........ you should do a follow up video to this one and try to dupe all of these products!!! That would be awesome! And I feel like if anyone could dupe these with drugstore products it would be YOU!! of course when and if you have the time, and if you would want to. I know being a mom is very time consuming for me and I only have one at home. I dunno how you do everything you do girl!!! I've ALWAYS said you're SUPER MOM!!!! I admire you so so much!!! For the mom that you are, for how hard you work, for you're actual love of makeup (and not just trying to put out video for "other reasons", you actually love makeup!) And because you're so honest and sweet and humble and ....... I could go on n on n on. But ill stop. Since my comment is already SO LONG (sorry for that BTW I'm a stay at home mom, sons asleep, having some me time, husband is always gone for work. Just to let you know the Charlotte tilbury mascara full size is exactly the same as the sample I open mine and open it for a couple of days and don’t use it for about a week and it’s perfect lol it’s just a bit to liquidy when first opened but that’s just my preference

Love your makeup. And you are right Duraline from Inglot is absolutely a must have. I have several loved eyeshadow cream oldies that I can use thanks to this wonderful product. Regarding mascara samples feeling better than the full size, I have an idea, which of course might not be right : mascaras’ formulation tends to improve over time and use, as some air get inside the tube each time you use them. And BTW, as you are not supposed to use a mascara more than 3 months, I more often buy the travel size which is more expensive than the full size per oz, but less expensive when throwing a full size after 3 months with plenty remaining in the tube.

I just love that watermelon spray too!!! I keep it behind a picture in my living room. That way I have it through the day.🤭🤭 i use stilla liner too.
Someone told me to put eye drops in your mascara so you can get more use out of it if it starts to dry out.

Sometimes you can get the Charlotte Tilbury In the smaller sizes. I prefer those to the full sizes and usually will buy it that way. Legendary lashes is my favorite.

You should try Stila's Heaven's Hue putty highlighter in Kitten and Opulence and Danessa Myricks dew wet balms in Clear, Hot Water, or Morning Dew (if you haven't). Those are my go 2 high end for that sweaty natural highlight. Just gorgeous
Yes! Danessa Myrick products are so amazing! I used to buy only from Muse beauty. So glad to see that her stuff is now available at Sephora. Nice to have more than one place to buy from when items are sold out.

I’ve had that, too, with sample mascaras being different than the full size... both better and worse. EmilyNoel suggested it might be something about a regular size brush in a tube with less product 🤷🏻♀️

You are simply gorgeous darling!!!! It's so funny how when you said you was going to pair your lid shade with another color from another palette, I immediately said Viseart. I knew you were going to use the brown shade in that palette. I think I know you well!! Lol. All the products look so lovely on you as always. All my high end makeup comes from my Boxycharm or Ipsy. I can't afford to buy highend products other then that. I would love to try Charlotte Tilbury though. Maybe someday I will be able to try it.
Beautiful eye look. I love drugstore beauty products, but sometimes I want to indulge and have a luxurious feeling when I am applying makeup. I had a bottle of Lumene Micellar water and it was so good at removing makeup and leaving my skin so soft, that I need to re-explore this brand.

I get you..! 😊 It happens to me with the It Cosmetics Moisturizer Cream... I've had the chance to try it with my points from Sephora and Ulta. I don't think I will spend $50 for a face moisturizer when I can get another good one (Cerave PM) from the drugstore and way more affordable.🤷♀️ Oh..! And you are the responsible for me getting the Viseart Nudes Pallette.😂 I love it..! Thank you..!

High end makeup really is different. The look is just that bit more blended, refined, inobtrusive yet defined. I look forward to gradually adding some to my collection bit by bit.

so funny! I just bought a new eyelash curler bc my eyes are too small. :) I ordered a heated one from Amazon to try. It is a curved brush - no cage. I hope it works! :) I've gotten to really love just drugstore products also.

My high end is the Lancome Teint Miracle foundation. I have tried to find something else, but nothing comes close. It feels light and gives my skin coverage with a touch of radiance. I've used it for years and usually purchase when there's a discount combined with a gift with purchase. Love your videos! xoxoxo

I might have to look into that Surratt eyelash curler, I wear falsies a lot, and the standard ones don't work!
