I love the palette. It looks great on you. I dry my hair (if needed) first then I put on make up. After the make up I then go back and curl/style my hair. So for me, make up first (but no lipstick/gloss until after hair) and then hair. The rash isn't too noticeable. I would have probably applied a light concealer on it if I thought the rash would bother me. Have a great day! - Dorothy xoxo

I've had the Nars concealer for awhile now and kept wanting to love it but it really is too dry and thick for my dry skin. However a few weeks ago I got the Smashbox hydrating under eye primer and now I can use that concealer and any other one I have because this stuff is amazing! And I hardly get any creasing now which happened no matter what concealer I used before. They better not discontinue this product ever!!! I still use my regular eye gel after I was my face and moisturize. I just put this on right before I do my makeup and it even gives you a little glow under your eyes and some moisture without being greasy in the slightest. I think it would be nice even on the days you don't want to wear makeup.

Hope you love it!!! I'm super sensitive under my eyes and it didn't give me any little bumps or anything which is another huge plus!
MokaTutu I can't use the smashbox eye primer (I've looked at it a while ago!) it does sound awesome though! I'm still not sure how I feel about the Nars concealer but so far I'm underwhelmed - it won't be my favorite everyday concealer for sure!
Ugh, I struggle with just general red patches on my face all the time. I like to dab a bit of the green correcting concealer from la girl before I put on makeup and it seems to help :)

I got the Lioele BB cream b/c of your recommendation & I LOVE it. Esp b/c I have dry skin but it lasts ALL day too!! I also have sensitive skin so when I have a rash I always go back to a cleansing balm or a cleansing oil. You may also want to try something out of the kitchen, like honey. I know sounds weird, google it. If it's a really bad rash I take half a Benadryl daily while doing all of the above; I have tons of allergies so I can tolerate half a Benadryl & not fall asleep. Allana Davison indeed! she looks fab! does anyone have tips for rash/dry red patches though? my cheeks are standard like that and once I try to cover it with concealer it just accentuates the dry patches..
Tessa vo Have you tried using the Stila 1 Step Correct Primer? Or really any green toned primer? It will help cancel out the redness! Plus, when using concealer, make sure you've moisturised and/or primed your skin with something really moisturising to help prep the skin before applying any color correctors :)
I don't think I can use the Stila Primer but most of the redness is gone already :)

I have very sensitive skin and when I break out in rashes (which happens a lot because I have tons of allergies) I use bactine spray. It works for sunburn and bug bites too. It's my holy grail first aid product.

Try the Urban Decay concealer!! I bought it and loved it, and now a lot of youtubers with dry skin are saying they love it too :) Never had any issues with it showing dry patches, and I have dry skin.

I love your complexion! I have Lolita liquid lipstick and it just looks like my natural lip color but better. On you it looks so mauvy and nice. Mauve colors really suite you!

an anyone help me, i bought this pallete online and i think its a fake. How pigmented did people find it? I'm having to layer up every colour to really make it pop, its not very creamy although it looks fine ones its layered up and lasts pretty well... but i heard it meant to be super pigmented and creamy? Maybe it's a dud?

I personally do my makeup first because I like having my hair pulled up in a pony tail all out of my face. My baby hairs do the same thing when I apply bronzer haha.

I just put a little green where I have red spots, so I would use that on rash too :)

This is an odd question but... in your opinion, do you think the larger pans (specifically Laetus + Lazarus) could be used as a face contour for fair/light skin? I'm wary to invest in the Shade + Light Contour Palette because I know I won't use all that product! Ty!

Thank you for this tutorial!!! I normally do my hair after my makeup as I heard advice that if you do it after, your face is at least somewhat shielded from hairspray, heat protectant, etc. :)

have you tried the cover fx custom cover drops? You could mix in with the bourjois healthy mix on days when you need more coverage! :)

I always do my hair before my make up because It takes longer and I can't do my hair on the way but I can do my make up on the way .

I have to make sure my foundation is blended in my hair line perfectly or I will have I light ring around my face haha

If I curl my hair I do before my makeup so I can pin up the curls and let them cool while I do my makeup. Straight hair I do after my makeup!
I get redness on my cheeks from time to time. A green primer will help on that area or green concealer iv been using NYX green concealer but mind as at a tiny bit goes a long way. Also Gosh do a good one. Only if it is annoying you. To be honest i didnt notice it till you said it. Make up is just fav

I do my hair first definitely! If I do my makeup first, I feel like it'll melt off faster bcs of the hairsprays and the heat that goes on my face. So I'd rather do hair, pin my bangs away a little bit et voilà.
Do you notice any creasing with the Nars concealor after you've had it on awhile? I'm thinking about buying it but have been having a hard time finding something that doesn't crease. Thanks!

StudyBreakWithMe It depends on your skintone and preferences - personally most of the colors are a bit dark for an everyday simple look but I love the range of color for whenever I want to wear something less subtle... but I'm really fair! :)
