I flew every month, for work and leisure, sometimes 2x a month. Since Covid I have taken 1 emergency flight in this last year.
You guys seem so carefree about flying during this pandemic. I was scared out of my mind during my trip because people are really traveling like Covid isn’t a problem! These airports, lines, traffic, and flights are picking up in terms of travel. Delta claims to leave the middle seat open but they’re also starting to open those up (they did it on my flight back. And told me if it’s a problem I could try the next flight for free😡)...
Granted, the actual flight isn’t the biggest part of the problem. It’s the being inside the airport, lines, going thru security, boarding and etc.
“Since travel may increase a person’s chance of getting and spreading COVID-19, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance on celebrating the holidays notes that “postponing travel and staying home is the best.”
How do you guys make it “ok” in your mind to leisurely fly around the world during one of the most deadly pandemics?
No shade, I am genuinely curious and sometimes wish I could fly out with my family like we used to...
