My dad had an old Worsley in the 80s, likely a 60s model. My mates used to take the piss out of it and call it 'the old banger'. I was embarrassed at the time, now I look back it was cool as fuck lol
@wyverntheterrible mine was only 2 years old yet we were living in a rented 1 bed flat with a outside toilet with a baby ,and yet I knew no one who owned their own house ,so the thought of getting rid of that flash 3 litre 2 year old car and start buying a house never even occurred to me .This was 1965
back then, not every owned a car, only those that had money. And even then, you had only 1 car per family. Now cars are available on interest free loans and most households have 2+ cars. So you get more congestion on the road. Times have changed. If they made public transport more cheaper, people will ditch their cars and thus less congestion.
Yes, 70s streets were cleaner coz you had the councils investing in cleaning on a daily basis. Just like you had the Milkman delivering the milk bottles to your front door daily, the same goes for cleaning the streets. But, gradually over the years, the spending went down hill due to cost cutting exercise. Now you are lucky to see one once a week.
Bloody sacrilegious the way they over-dubbed the British actors to suit American audiences ..I was lucky enough to get a Blu-ray version with the original voice acting, but be careful if buying this online; make sure to check if it has been dubbed!
That P5. Dare say maybe even more handsome than the Jaag. Definitely a striking vehicle and I appreciate the higher roofline and front grille.
Yep one of the best cars britain ever made . Wish I could go back….
The Rover P5, such a handsome car!
I remember that 1971 landscape. A lot of renovating going on back then.
The Rover P5 is the finest English car ever!
In the 60s I had a wolseley 6/110
Beautiful car.

4:23 Cortina Lotus
I don’ see them on the streets these days.
Must cost a pretty penny to buy one
I had a capri like the one featured (mark 1 booted model) ,I wouldn't mind another one in that condition, especially with that "neat" number plate.
I have a P5B in the same colour but with a webasto roof, done just 53K , awesome car
Crime scene to crime scene in a P5B Coupe - very stylish.
There's a remake of this film starring Craig Fairbrass, somehow I don't think I'll be watching it😂😂
I watched it to be fair it wasnt that bad!!!
'Wolfie!!'
