REACTION: Colorado's Defense COULD NOT STOP Kansas State when it mattered!

- The Colorado Buffaloes lost to Kansas State Saturday, their first loss at home this football season. Until now, it has been hard for me to make sense of this Colorado team and why it is hard for me to figure out what they have going on. But in this reaction video, what I see from Colorado makes much more sense than I initially thought.

You’re 110% correct on your analysis it’s exactly how I feel watching these guys there’s been only two times. I felt 100% good about these guys winning the game and that was UCF two games ago and Stanford last year and they lost that game. Check it out without these guys next year I can see it going back to one and 11 stuff
@@brandonwilson4393 that’s why I said trust what your eyes are telling you and how you actually feel. The thing people are hanging onto now is that they fought … before that it was 2nd quarter defense… before that it was “we are better than last year” what is really happening is excuses. And until you start seeing them as that it will be hard to be honest with what we are seeing.
CU will win more games but from what I am seeing it will not be because of them the other team has to give the ball away because those extra opportunities are needed since the offense doesn’t want to run the ball.

@@EllenVee If you catch up with someone and take the lead then it cannot also be true that Colorada wasn't even in control of the game.
All you're saying is that KState started off in control. Which is crazy because Colorado scored first. Was KState in control when that happened?
And Colorado let KState off the hook by Shedeur throwing that long, missed pass instead of running to gain the 1st down like he would normally have done.
People acted like KState was the big bad wolf. They have some great running backs but that was Colorado's game to win or lose. KState wasn't in control of anything.
I gotta agree with you on the “Colorado is showing us who they are” point. If you talk to anyone on the outside of CU fandom, they’re always waiting for the next game to see if CU is good. Which kinda makes sense if we aren’t playing complete games consistently. They may see 10-2 this season. Because Utah, ARIZONA, & Texas Tech, also have holes.. KU, OSU, &CINCY aren’t very good either.
If you think that about the teams you listed go look them up and watch them play. The worst teams left off the schedule are Arizona, KU and maybe OSU. But the thing they can all do is run the ball. So it leads you to wonder what CU team is going to be there.
We just don’t know and that’s why we don’t know who they are.

Wow why is everyone so critical of CU it’s like they are being treated like circus animals week after week they are expected to be prefect.. like no other program has to deal with this.. I mean all the programs are having some type of issues.. no other programs are picked apart like this ..this is shameful.. we the only people that do this to each other 🤦🏾♀️
Are you new here? I am not new to this and I talk about 3 teams the exact same way! Texas is undefeated and talk about them the same way Colorado.
At the end of the day it’s football if something isn’t good it isn’t good. If it’s inconsistent it’s inconsistent.
You can’t run the ball 10 times and expect to win and you can’t give up 200+ rushing yards and expect to win.
For me as I said in the video this isn’t just about his game! It is about the rest of the season.

KSU prove to be a formidable opponent, evident in their ranking at 18th. However, the Colorado team could benefit from strengthening their offensive and defensive lines with more physical presence. Upon reviewing game footage, it is apparent that improvements in line play are needed. Quarterback Shedur lacks trust in the offensive line, demonstrated by his reluctance to step up in the pocket, leaving him vulnerable to edge rushers and resulting in unnecessarily long sacks of 20 to 25 yards. Such deficiencies are detrimental to the team's success and highlight the importance of addressing weaknesses in the trenches. Also, they didn't stick with the run game at all.
I agree with everything you just said which equals an average football team. Nothing wrong with it just is what it is.

I’m trying to figure out on the last play which was 4th and 5 why go deep and throw a low percentage play
I have absolutely NO idea what that was. My other issue is that pick in the end zone… why the rush?!?
@@ReallyFlawed because Sheduer Sanders often calls these long routes because his dad has created a “Super-Hero’ complex in him and he feels like he has to do big things to win when in fact he should have had shorter routes like screens, cross routes, etc. Sheduer having the power to change or call plays and last night as he has done his entire career he often calls the wrong play or reads the defense wrong and makes the wrong play. So many times I’ve watched CU & JSU and said why is he going deep when they only needed 3, 4 or 5 yards, why isn’t he running out the collapsing pocket or throwing it away because he has been made to believe if he doesn’t save the day it will be lost. To keep that notion alive his Dad who is and has been his coach has built his programs to sustain this Super-Hero complex. We see this with the types of offenses and coordinators daddy has surrounded him with his entire career. No way CU with the talent should have a vanilla offense that isn’t explosive and doesn’t have a variation of plays that aren’t Sheduer centered. That’s what winning programs do and unfortunately we will see this truth when he goes to the NFL and his dad isn’t his coach.

The Kansas St RB seemed a little shaken after a play. Dylan Edwards is a prime example of why CU players need to put on more weight.

Team hasn’t been turning the ball over we have are physical and create turnovers a good team Colorado we just didn’t play great today and kstate is a very disciplined team that’s it! Show me were we have giving up a ton of yards we have not until this game kindly someone post receipts and stats for veted content.
If this is how you feel cool. But you can Google the stats they have been giving up almost 400 yards every single game. All you have to do is look it up.
Shedeur doesn't trust his online, AT ALL, because he doesn't spend any time building a genuine bond/chemistry off the field!

I try to tell you this was a trap game and that’s why I had bad feelings about this game and plus everybody was choosing Colorado, which made it more pressure on us to even get the win. We couldn’t even execute what we need to do and after some of our key players that got hurt, it’s looking like the season is over for Colorado prime might end up, leaving going to a school with a name because of the resources that he has I’m just speaking hypothetically if he gets a job offer to Florida State it’s a wrap because he can basically get anybody that he wants and plus the school has a name is crazy that the resources that he has. I think they could've won when they got that interception and he ran all the way back, but he tripped over himself, due to the fact Kansas only won by 2
They still scored on the following plays.
You realize they scored a TD and then that shaky defense gave up a TD. Then I don’t know what Shedeur was thinking on 3rd down.
Just all around unstable and inconsistent play.
Really Flawed if I were to tell before this game that CU had a 4 point lead and only needed a defensive stop to seal the game would you take it especially what we saw from UCF or Shedeur would have the ball with 2 plus minutes with only needing to tie or take the lead would you take it. I get the concerns but this team is better than last year. Running the ball I agree is key what I am not sure of is who is making the call. It was stated Pat called for running formations but Cp over rode and changed to passing formations. CU wins next week they are still at the top
Being better than last year is NOT the right measurable they have to be better than their competition. That’s all that matters. Also do you remember the 3 wide open K. State Players that would have had TDs?

@@lawrencerbe2661 we are 6 games into a new season. Last year should never come up again. Also like I said in my video I have seen this movie. There will be games CU still wins but it won’t be because of CU the other teams will turn the ball over and give them chances. But if they pay a team that executes well they will not win.
It just is what it is. That’s the type of team CU is right now.
And not K State winning by what you’re always saying: eat the clock! Plus it helps when your opponent can’t tackle. This was a good game though. They fought through.

It’s NOT your Oline!!! It’s your coaches abandoning the run in the 1st. That puts the Oline at a great disadvantage because now the D can choose how they want to attack because they DO NOT have to worry about a handoff. And yes your D is not very good, kind of exposed.

Run plays we just need to excute period that is football. We cannot speculate at what did or did not happen we known exactly what happened we ran poorly all first quarter they sucked in that position so o catch up you need to throw then ball otherwise you use too much time and absolutely will never have a chance to win we actually loss and were up by 4 with less then 4 minutes left so we almost beat the best team in the conference so far. In my opinion

Progress from what exactly? What is the comparable? Because stats are saying they aren’t that great they are below average my eyes are telling me they are average at best
