STYG is by far my favorite band and consistently help me get through tough times. Honestly just amazing people. STYG has saved so many lives and given so much hope to their fans.

He's the reason we all got the tattoo and our in this music video. All of our tattoos say "At least he died a lion". He was one of their biggest fans, and passed away from a brain tumor last november. Jesse spoke to him before he passed away, and they did everything they could to help.

This music video shows just how amazing STYG is. They dedicate a video to a loyal fan who passed away from a brain tumor, and people got tattoos in his and STYG's honor. Are you kidding me? How does this band have so many haters? Just because they aren't like the other hardcore bands who preach hate, they get hipsters dissing on them all the time. This band means a lot to me, and they're an inspiration to so many.
Definitely one of the more heartfelt bands out there today. Effing love this band!

First time i heard these guys was at a Sworn In gig and to be perfectly honest these guys were sooooo much better than Sworn In.
Ive seen sworn in twice live and they're not that great live. Plus jesse speech (styg vocalist) is amazing and the bands energy as well

I love this video because it shows what hardcore shows were really about. No matter what kind of problems you were having you could always come to a show and fit in like the right piece of a puzzle.

The heart they all have is the logo from the styg album The Hope Division and the quote "At least he died a lion" is in memory of Sam Perkins who died from a brain tumor and all his friends got that tattoo.

I didnt know sam perkins personally, but some of my good friends from a few years back do. styg in my eyes will always sick just for what they did for sam.

This song/band is helping me through this bullshit drama at college. I lost all of my friends/my love of my life/now homeless once I go back to my city that I was raised at. I kept having panic attacks all month. This song made my heart feel at ease und gave me chills with the lyrics. (woah, we don't need them) I think I heard that right. I hope. But I thank them for being my inspiration to getting better. Thank you STYG!!!! You will always have my support
I went to the memorial show they had for him here in AZ. I never met him but the love and emotion that night was off the charts. No doubt in my mind that he was an amazing person. Much love to all of his friends and family. Atleast he died a lion.

I haven't really listened to STYG Since Come from the heart Album.. I didn't really like the album afterwards. But this album has seriously Spiked my interest in them again!
I personally enjoy their music simply for the music not because they represent something. Here's the thing, being "straight-edge" shouldn't be a identifier of a group of people. Honestly, it's not even saying anything about you. Nobody cares about what you don't do, it's what you do do that defines who you are. I'll probably take heat for this, but it's the truth of world and as soon as these little scene kids get that the better this world will be.
I don't think anyone understands what this video means to us. We lost our best friend, and got a tattoo in his remembrance. We spoke to STYG about everything, and they did all that they could to help us. They had us be apart of such a amazing video, and dedicated it to Sam.
Respect for them is through the rough.
