I got really excited when you stopped at the Cruzan Rum distillery. When I was 16 years old, Back in the 70's, My family moved to St.Croix for 1 year. When we first arrived on the Island, A friend of my Dad was the plant manager at Cruzan Rum. And one of the perks of his job was that he got to live in the Plantation house for free. The land there had once been one of the biggest sugar cane plantations on the island. As a result, We got to stay there for a month while my parents were looking for a home to rent. It was a grand house. It had many bedrooms, on both floors, With very thick walls, And a wrap around porch on both floors. You could just feel the history in the House. It had a few old ship anchors scattered around the grounds. And you could also find old cannon balls in the yard. It brought back so many good Memories. Thank you for the Video.
Just scrolling through UA-cam and clicked on your video to see what you had to say about my island. I recognized the accent right away, but imagine my surprise to find out that you are from Gloucester - my home town. Welcome to St Croix!
We just got back from Aruba, which was a great stay. No cruise, just a flight in and out for a 7-day stay, though we missed the reef dives that we got to experience when we stayed in The Bahamas. Next time we're thinking we may hit Belize....we even thought about moving there, a few years back. Which Caribbean destination has been your fave? Thanks , Chip!
I enjoyed meeting and talking to you and your wife on Rhapsody of the Seas last month. Keep up the videos. I was the fireman from Indianapolis you spoke to...
Great videos. Enjoying the content. Where did you book the tour you went on? We are going in November and do not have any activity planned for St Croix yet.
Thank you for watching. We don’t really “book” tours. We basically get out of the market area and see what’s available. Kinda a go with the flow. All the islands independent tours. Just be sure that they go to where you’d like to go like the Cruxen Rum distillery. Hope this helps. All the best!
Thank you for watching. That tour was not thru RC. We grabbed it after leaving the boat and shopping area. Plenty of tours there. Be sure to make sure they’re going where u want to go. Good luck and all the best!
@@krystalrey87 Thank you for watching. Sadly I do not. Once off the ship and thru the shops there are plenty of tours. Just ask to make sure the tour goes to where you want to go. Good luck and all the best!

Ha! I really don’t have one. Though I loved that beach in Barbados. Give me a good beach and water and I’m happy. All the best and keep adventuring!

Thank you for watching. Beautiful island!
Question: that tour you went on wasn’t through RC, correct? Did they get you back to the boat in plenty of time?

Do you remember the name of the tour you took? We are heading to St Croix in September and want to visit Cruzan & Captain Morgan.
