In reality, limited liability for a newly formed company does not exist. Anybody lending a company money that has been only recently formed will only do so if it is secured against the assets of the shareholders or directors. I mean who is going to lend money to a business with no trading history ?? For the majority of people Limited Liability is really not a reason to form a limited company. In fact 99.9% of business starting out in the UK should not be starting out as a limited company as there is no purpose. You won't be saving any tax, unless you anticipate huge revenue from day one, you will have added expense in accountancy fees etc and you will be scrutinised far more and have far more paperwork to file, and legislation to comply with.
