I love how thoughtful your gift knits are, its incredible how much attention and intention goes into the socks for your husband, into the lap blanket ...

My favorite rib for socks is also 2x1! I tell people this all the time and they just look at me like - huh?

It's hard to believe a quarter of the year is finished already!
Good luck with the doll. I'm a crocheter but I've given up on making little figurines as I find it so fiddly and hard on the hands. I love the brown and red you have so far. I think it's going to look great when you're done!
I'm enjoying your podcast, you have a nice calm delivery, good vibes❤

Thanks so much for the feedback and kind words. Yes, that's the hardest part of knitting little toys for me, my hands cramp something terrible and I have to take so many breaks to get through what should be a quick easy project.

    Love your videos!
I used the TCK app back in December to make the Silverbells sweater and had the same issue with being unable to highlight/mark off rows in the chart. To me this seems like a major drawback since that’s one of the main functionalities I need. I don’t usually even mark off other steps in a pattern. I hope they figure out how to add that soon.
I’m also a lover of KP Felici, though I have a probable-lifetime supply after buying it for 8 years, but I bet they will bring it back eventually. They’re still using the base for Felicini, if you don’t mind shorter stripes.
Your husband socks look like they’ll be a lot of fun! I went through a similar sock-knitting journey for my husband. I used to do 80+ stitches for him, but the most recent pair I made him was just 64 (on KP Hawthorne, so heavy fingering). I’ve realized he actually likes his socks on the tight side (as long as he can get them over his heel)rather than too loose.

thanks for checking in on the app. I don't think I'd be able to make the Silverbells w/o marking the pattern. They have been consistently improving on the app, so maybe they'll add that feature.
I too have plenty of felici on hand (not a fan of the shorter stripes of felicini).
Snug is definitely better when it comes to socks, I'm learning. We're both still used to commercial socks where the elastic tends to dig in and leave marks, which doesn't seem to be an issue with wool socks.
      Thanks for the love!

So glad I found your channel. I’m really enjoying your videos. No goal setting for me however my first grandchild was born at the end of last year and for the first time since I began knitting I’m seriously diving into garment knitting. I mean, how can you not want to knit baby clothes, right? Trying to learn all I can, so far so good! Good luck on your doll project - sounds like quite an undertaking.

Glad you found me too. Congratulations and best wishes to you and your family! Baby clothes are so fun and knit up so fast. Also perfect one skein projects.
